Paw Butter is made with all-natural and organic ingredients and is safe if pet accidentally licks paw. However, for Paw Butter to work properly, it's best to distract the pet with a treat or food to keep them from licking the paw moisturizer.

This can be used on their nose. There are ingredients in Paw Butter that are not in Nose Butter, but it has the same basic purpose.

Great idea, can't get the dog to agree

I liked the ingredients in the product and thought the extra moisture on my dog's paw pads would be good for her, but she hates this stuff. She fights me when trying

I liked the ingredients in the product and thought the extra moisture on my dog's paw pads would be good for her, but she hates this stuff. She fights me when trying to apply it, and if I grease up my hand instead and rub it on like that, she immediately licks it all off before she will walk. I think that makes the cracking worse. I think it's a good product but the dog won't agree.

Too hard to use

Well- maybe it works if you use it. But I don't use it because it's so hard. You have to really dig your fingers in to get some, then you have to warm it up in

Well- maybe it works if you use it. But I don't use it because it's so hard. You have to really dig your fingers in to get some, then you have to warm it up in your hands. You are paying to moisturize yourself instead of your dog. Don't recommend. A big waste. I do use another balm which works well, but tried this since it was recommended by someone who said she tried everything and this was the best. Not for us. My best so far is Dermoscent Biobalm. I have tried Musher's paw (didn't work) as well. I have actually seen great results from vasoline on another dog, but dont' want to use that as it isn't safe to be licked.

I've purchased the large before for our labs and it works great! Their pads heal faster than using Musher's secret. Takes a couple days of applying to see the difference

I've purchased the large before for our labs and it works great! Their pads heal faster than using Musher's secret. Takes a couple days of applying to see the difference. Safe if the dog licks it, they won't get sick. Doesn't stain surafces. Accidentally ordered the half ounce bottle not realizing there's now a smaller size so might want to pay attention. The downsides are price it's a little spendy. And the need to apply daily, if I miss a day it's noticable on one of our dogs. Luckily for us it's a seasonal problem from wiping their paws off.
