is this good for the other area skins besides nose?

This balm is designed to treat issues in the dog’s snout and nose area only.
Can cats use this product?

While Natural Dog Company balms are formulated specifically for dogs, success has been seen in treating skin issues with cats also. Wrinkle Balm is the preferred balm, as it is the mildest formula in the product line. We discourage using Skin Soother; it has a higher concentration of essential oils and could cause additional irritation to a cat's sensitive skin.

Works pretty well

My dog has terrible nose issues. The vet thinks they may be related to Discoid Lupus, but we haven't tested for it yet. The Snout Soother works pretty well. I took away one star just because you really do have to apply it several times a day and distract your pet from licking it away. I would buy it again.

Better than the rest

My cocker has always had a crusty nose. I have tried all the products available, cherry chapstick, bag balm, coconut oil. If your dog has this chronic issue do not fool yourself into thinking a product will “fix” it. This is a maintenance issue not a cure. I bought the trial size because I was skeptical. I just reordered the 4oz. I apply 3 times a day and his nose looks better than everything else I have tried. His nose still is not perfect, but also not cracked and bleeding as before. I see best results if I can keep him from licking it before it soaks in. It is worth it for us!
