One rescue has no front teeth and can’t get food very easily, the other cat has extra long incisors ands same thing. My other 3 cat do much better eating it. They do like it.
This single protein food is great for my cats(sensitivity to chicken) but the kibble is a little too thick and not flat enough for my one cat. It took about three weeks before they took to it. I stuck with it because it has really helped in getting them regular with their poops. They are now soft and formed instead of before this food they were rock hard( not enough fiber) and they would get backed up. Blue Buffalo is good quality food just wish their kibble was flatter and not so large.
My cat loves this food, but I bought it because she's allergic to all the regular recipes on the market. And because there is still chicken meal within the ingredients she's still itching. However, if all else fails, I'm coming back to this!
Both my cats LOVE this food so far. They're devouring it like there's no tomorrow. Winner at our house!
Since I changed my two furry friends diet to this food, they both have recovered from stomach issues from the previous food I was giving (along with some veterinary prescribed probiotics). Due to other reviews on Blue Buffalo Basics, and my own research on it, I am concerned about the added carrageenan. Hopefully, BB will find another ingredient to use in place of it.
My cat, Lily, had daily diarrhea and threw up 2-3 times a week. Since putting her on this diet, that cleared up. I'm feeding this to the 2 strays also. Might be pricey, but most good things are. I'm thinking that Lily might have a chicken allergy. I would recommend this to anyone that has a cat with digestive issues.
My older cat do not like his food. Looks like he just wants meow mix.
I have a recent cat that was TNR.. that means trap neuter and release he's decided he doesn't want to be released and he's staying on my patio.. he is a white kitty with all kinds of allergies so I was trying to find a food that just had no chicken... So I ordered this and I wasn't sure if he would eat it... But he loves it.. he seems to be itching less.. too soon to tell for sure but five stars for the fact that he loves this food...
BB is the best food and my cats love it!!
My kitty has he had terrible lifetime tummy issues. Can't have anything but loves turkey everything. His tummy issues are sooo much less and both kitties gooble this stuff down! Limited ingredients and nothing really in this that's bad. It's an added bonus that it's good for their skin.
