Made with high-quality single animal proteins not typically used in dog food, there's nothing basic about the taste of these delicious wet formulas. Choose from several offerings specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of adult dogs including small and large breeds, as well as senior formulas.

Where is it made? And where do the ingredients come from?

All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada. Where possible, Blue's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the Unites States, such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reliable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

The Basics line doesn't have wet puppy food. Can this be given to a puppy (mixed into dry food)? Thanks!

This dog food is formulated for adult dogs. This formula will not have the nutrients and vitamins required for a growing puppy. If mixed with puppy dry food, the wet food can be used as a topper.
