This food topper did not work for my finicky eater dog ....

I have a non food motivated GSD who has been losing weight not eating his meals (I feed him Origen dry food plus half can of Evanger's Turkey Dinner wet food). I was desperate and wanted to try some dog food toppers. Searched Chewy and picked this one. Wanted to ship it with my auto ship to avoid shipping cost but that did not work. Called CS and explained the situation. She very gracefully agreed to ship one pack to me free. I am very grateful!! Since this food topper did not work for my dog I am glad I did not buy a whole bunch. Thank you! The reason I gave a 2 star is because this food did not work for my dog and it did not really smell that great.

Dukie food

My dog absolutely loves his new food! He’s gotten sensitive to dyes and grains as he has aged (13 in July) so thought to try this. It’s definitely a winner. He had no stomach/bowel issues with the change in food like he had with others. This is a keeper.

Great Food Topper

I have a mini Aussie & Labradoodle. The doodle doesn't always eat her food and she need too as she is young. I bought these toppers and now she eats her food completely and even licks the bowl. They sit every night & wait for supper knowing they are getting the toppers. They Love this food.

Elderly picky eater approved

I don't know why I haven't thought to give these to my picky eater before! My 13 yr old rescue pup has always been a grazer, but now that I have a big puppy in the house, I need her to eat when her food is put down. I was using people food as a topper to entice her, but I think it ultimately led to some gasto-instestinal issues. So I tried a case of these and now she eats when she's supposed to eat. I use half a pack on her breakfast and the rest for dinner to top her kibble.

Jax the Labrador says yum

These pouches are so convenient and easy. Portion controlled. I put them on top of Jax’ kibble and he loves it. It doesn’t look like nasty pate dog food - it looks like a stew so it doesn’t gross me out.

Good supplement/enticer

I have an 16-lb, 18-year old dog that is a challenge to get to eat. I mix a full packet in with her regular food and that seems to make it more appealing to her. She seems to prefer the chicken flavor, so wish they offered it with an all-chicken selection.

Convenient, packets>cans

A little expensive for us normally, so I only buy them when they're all sale. We usually use the Pedigree packets as a topper for dry food. I prefer packets like these to cans, which sometimes cut my hands.

Hit or Miss

We have a very spoiled and picky eater dog. It’s a hit or miss with this food, as with other food we feed her, so I couldn’t give 5 stars. I do think it’s just Oreo though.

Dog food topper

Great way to give your dog something different. Convenient and just the right size packet to add a treat to your dogs dry food

Finicky Eater Approved

I adopted my little shih-tzu boy (Sprite) about fours years ago and meals have always been a struggle. I've tried multiple different types of food and, invariably, he would refuse to eat ~25% of the time. But the Delectables have changed that. I've been using it as a topper and he has only refused to eat once in the last two weeks. It's a winner.
