There's approximately 4 cups of kibble in every one pound of dry dog food. This 30-pound bag contains about 120 cups.

Are the all the ingredients produced in U.S.A.?

All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada. Where possible Blue's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the Unites States, such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reliable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

Tried changing her over gradually from the adult form but was not successful. The loose stools were expected, as any change might produce. However, even tho she’s an older lab, (11 years) she’s normally very friendly, greets the postman, the kids coming home from school, neighbors, and bossing me around. She stopped doing all that. It was like she was really depressed. (I’m a retired psych RN which is why I put it that way.). So I switched back to the adult form and she’s back to normal, just got done greeting the mailman. Used the senior form with our last lab and he was fine with it. So I’d say this is an individual reaction.

Best senior large breed food ever

This food is awesome for my 11 year old Husky!!! It has just the right amount t of Protein and fat to keep her weight optimal AND 750mg of Glucosamine and 550 Condroiten

This food is awesome for my 11 year old Husky!!! It has just the right amount t of Protein and fat to keep her weight optimal AND 750mg of Glucosamine and 550 Condroiten so i don’t have to buy additional things for mobility as she ages.. I also alternate this food with wet food and she has been losing about a pound per month.. She is still healthy but getting to a better weight for her age. She’s very active and jumps in the air like she is 3 yrs old and has a beautiful coat. I just can’t find anything better for the price. I also trust this company because they don’t make a bad food and tell you it is good and then make this and tell you it is good also.

A mixture of kibble?

Our wonderful Golden “Henry” turned 9 a few months back so we elected to change to senior food with Blue Buffalo. When I opened the bag there seemed to be two types

Our wonderful Golden “Henry” turned 9 a few months back so we elected to change to senior food with Blue Buffalo. When I opened the bag there seemed to be two types of product? One is the expected triangle shaped lighted color and there is about 10% of it that has small pea sized kernels of a very dark kibble. Too early to say if this is the intended mixture but hope to hear from customer service to validate this mixture. Other than that Henry seems to like it AOK.
