Is this food made in the USA.

All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada. Where possible Blue's suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available in the United States, such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reliable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

Dog lived 17.5 years on some variation of this formula

My mini schnauzer had some version of blue buffalo most of his life and he lived 17.5 years which I feel like is a long time for someone on kibble his whole life

I finally see his true coat colors!

I was feeding my dog a grocery chain store brand dog food for a couple years until I realized his food must be what caused him to randomly have an explosive gall

I was feeding my dog a grocery chain store brand dog food for a couple years until I realized his food must be what caused him to randomly have an explosive gall bladder attack on my bathroom floor about every 3 months. I googled it and found it had an enormous amount of fat content. I then switched to a more expensive but still very reasonably priced national brand for about another 3 years. I was happy he only got sick about every 6 months. But that got old too. Read it had a lot of by-products. Because he started getting into a mature stage, I decided I want him around much longer than cheap dog food will do. I feel ashamed that I didn’t invest in his health earlier. But glad I switched about 3 years now. Even though the small bags of the life protection formulas for seniors cost anywhere from 17 to 20 bucks, and it’s about 3 times more expensive than the last brand, boy oh boy, Im so glad we finally switched! When he wakes up to stretch, I don’t hear his bones popping. He has always been lively with spontaneous bursts of energy. Now Im sure he will be for a long time (9 y/o now)! And I can now see his true colors shine through on his coat!! So worth the cost!!

I been using this for a small chihuahua mix, it last around two months & I mix it with blue's wet food. My dog's previous diet was Science hills prescription potato

The size of the kibble is perfect.

Molly and Stu did well with it but Lucy has digestive issues sometimes and she didn't do as well.
