It is definitely a good idea! It because it is adult verses puppy, the nutritional needs are a little different. Transitioning will help their tummy adapt better to the new formula!
what is difference between Life Protection "small breed" and Life Protection "small bite"

The Small Bite Recipe is for all size dogs and contains ideal “small bite” shaped food for dogs who prefer a smaller kibble. The Small Breed Recipe is formulated to fit the needs of an extra small, small, and toy breed dog.
Are the ingredients used in any of products from China?

None of the ingredients are sourced from China. All Blue Buffalo products are manufactured in the United States. Many of their ingredients, such as most grains and meats, like chicken, beef and turkey come from the United States. Lamb and venison can be free range from the United States or New Zealand. Rabbit is sourced from Europe, and trout can come from the United States or Canada.

Floyd loves Blue

Floyd is a retired greyhound off the FL track. He like most greyhounds like small kibble. We were trying foods that had like turkey etc in it but the kibble was to big. He does seem to love this kibble.

Great customer service. I originally ordered the wrong product. My dogs wouldn’t eat it. Chewy refunded my money and let me donate the food to the local shelter. I ordered the correct food and it arrived quickly. Very convenient and a good price too. Thank you chewy!

Great customer service!

I mistakenly ordered puppy food when my dog was 9 mo. I should have ordered the adult version...anyway I changed subscription and contacted chewy customer service to see if I could exchange. They told me I didn't need to return it and to just donate the food! Great!

Puppy just turned 1 and switched from the puppy to the adult formula. Bite size adult formula is the same size as the puppy formula and she loves it.

Caused terrible stomach problems for dogs

We’ve bought this brand for years for our labradoodle and yellow lab and never had issues. This time I ordered this ‘flavor’ and both dogs continually vomit if they eat it. Never seen anything like it. We tried it a couple of times because we were not sure and same results each time. An expensive item to have to throw away. :(.
