Chicken is first ingredient but too much Vegetable Glycerin

Love that chicken is #1 ingredient but the high amount of vegetable glycerin makes the texture look and feel like rubber. The treat looks like a rubber spatula

Love that chicken is #1 ingredient but the high amount of vegetable glycerin makes the texture look and feel like rubber. The treat looks like a rubber spatula. My dog carried it to his bed and it's been there since. I thought he liked it since that's what he does with valuable treats + toys but he hasn't touched it for days. I tried giving him fresh ones but he refuses them. Sadly, not a hit. Sometimes you gotta take a chance and risk some misses to get that win ... He loves chicken but is very fussy about which chicken treats he likes.

When we get them delivered from Chewy they're dry and tough. The little guy doesn't seem to mind either way but I would prefer my baby's treats be as fresh as possible (especially for how expensive they are).

I have been purchasing these for a long time without issues,.and minimal breakage. I received a 1 pound that was entirely broken (see picture).so I wrote Blue to let them know how difficult it is is to portion when the are broken pieces and keep the dogs from eating one anothers.treat. Here is the response I got "I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience. Damaged product can occur if there is improper handling and/or storage of the product during the distribution process. We unfortunately have no control over the storage and handling actions of our distributors and retailers, and because there are at least a couple of touch points after the product leaves the manufacturer, it is difficult to know where this damage may have occurred. If possible, so that our QA Team can determine the specific batch the product was produced in, would you be able to provide the series of letters and numbers that follow the "20260907?” Also, would it be possible for you to provide us with a photo of the treats you described? Please know we have not had issues with any of our batches; however, we have documented this incident in our database. I apologize for this experience and for any inconvenience it may have caused" They immediately passed the blame, like every other corporation, and then asked for pictures. I will be buying another product for treats and backup food from now on. Can't even help me with one bag, what a corporate joke,and opposite of what they portray in their commercials

My husband and I recently adopted a senior Belgian Malinois dog. While housetrained, he was a bit rusty with a couple of basic commands. So my husband and I needed a high value treat to use to get our sweet old man engaged and eager (he's still very food motivated). We purchased a smaller version of this bag in our grocery store and he LOVED them. So it's awesome to see that Chewy has this particular jerky not just in a larger amount, but we can get a set of 2. Definitely convenient, and as long as our new doggo continues to enjoy these, it's now in our autoship cart.
