An unopened can of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the can. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep the food stored in original packaging and store in a cool, dry location. Ideally, after opening, any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 3-5 days.

Blue Buffalo foods and treats are manufactured here in the USA. They source as many ingredients as possible from the U.S. Most of their grains and meats come from the USA. There are occasions when they source meat from other countries. For example, the lamb can be free range from the USA, Australia or New Zealand. When the ingredients are not readily available in the U.S., such as vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, their suppliers work with only reputable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of their meats or grains are sourced from China. All of their ingredients are USDA or FDA approved and inspected as applicable.

The Salmon Entrée Pate contains approximately 0.36% phosphorus, as-fed. The Chicken Entrée Pate contains approximately 0.42% phosphorus, as-fed. The Ocean Fish & Tuna Entrée Pate contains approximately 0.43% phosphorus, as-fed. At this time, Blue Buffalo does not test for dry matter values. This formula is a maintenance formula, and not intended to be fed to cats with medical conditions.

Tasteful by Blue

I have 2 cats. One hated this pate product, the other one loves, Loves, LOVES it...they're cats, go figure. Usually, when I switch a food, there is a "get use to it" period. Well, Mr. Bugsy Grumpy Pants is having none of it. My Squinty though will sit on the case when he is in the house. If you're thinking of using this, maybe buy a can or 2 from your local store and have them try it...because Chewy's price beats everyone else.

Finicky Feline

Our Tucker Boy is one of the most finicky eaters around. I have purchased the moist foods before but he wasn't that crazy about them. I decided to try this variety pack and lo and behold - he loves them! All of them! What a relief. He totally loves the Blue dry food, but I wanted him to have some moisture to keep his kidneys healthy. Thank you, Blue!

Exceeds Expectations!

After several years of the same rotation, my cat decided she was no longer interested and pretty much stopped eating. Not good especially with a senior cat who has food allergies. In an attempt to find something - anything - she would eat, I tried this. From all appearances, she loves it! What I see coming out of the can is a quality product. What I see with my cat is a contented feline who is not losing weight or bored with her meals. Win/Win!

Product for my grand kitties

We use Blue hard food so I tried this soft food. Its a great product but these little creeps arent crazy about it. Nothing to do with Chewy! I love this company and when I order everything is always right and I get it quickly.

Pretty good, Strong smell

My two kitties were happy to try something new (I received a Chewy gift card for Christmas so we splurged on Blue) and they seem to like it but not any more than the Tiny Tiger that they normally get. Good for a change or a treat, but cannot afford on a regular basis.

Was looking for cat food without grains and and parts of chicken, beef that I would not eat(beaks, ears etc) My Mookie seems.to like this food very much. I am.happy to find something healthy for him

Cat turns up his nose

My cat used to love this food and will still eat the more costly Spoonless singles. Try to give him the canned version and it is a no go. I have to mix it with other food to try to fool him. Something is different with the coating on the inside of the can (I think). If I scoop out the center of the can, he will eat it but not with the same enthusiam as he did when the top of the can was blue.

Not good, rubbery, sticky

Very disappointed. Cats love pate, figured I’d try Blue Buffalo after positive experiences. This stuff is not good. It sticks to the can, the spoon, the bowl. The cats don’t like it. Back to the Purina pate. Even Fancy Feast is seemingly better than this stuff.

Great occasional treat!

Both my cats are on urinary tract food as one had repeat urinary blockages. But we do Blue Tastefuls as an occasional treat since they get tired of the limited flavors for urinary issues. They both love this food! Not sure if that would stay the case if they got it more often, but makes for a nice break!
