Not the same!!!!
Unfortunately it looks like Blue Buffalo (General Mills) has decided to change the ingredients of True Chews (when owned by Tyson), a previously fantastic dog treat! The duck jerk now has chicken added and the treats are so soft that I have only crumbs in the bags. And the real test, my two golden retrievers, one who is extremely picky about his treats, not snub their noses at these. Why, oh why, are already great products, when purchased by other companies changed?
Perfect for little guys
My chihuahua loves this. It's nice and soft and easy. He prefers the duck over the other flavors. When my sweet 17-yr-old dachshund was alive, I would cut it into small, very small, pieces (he only had 4 teeth left), and it would disappear in seconds. This review is based on the original; I hope Blue Buffalo hasn't changed it!
Chicken (and duck)
These used to be DUCK treats, but now they’re “chicken and duck” and chicken is the first ingredient. Disappointed in the sneaky change.
Not What We Expected
The title says Duck, but the packages that came say Chicken and Duck. My fur baby is very picky and was disappointed when I gave her one of these instead of what she really likes. She is eating these (thank goodness), but not as happy with them.
Normally Great - Not this time
I've ordered these chews several times and they've been a favorite of my dogs. This last shipment, though, the chews were old and moldy when I opened the package. I should have taken a photo, but I was very disgusted and threw them away. Not sure if I'll order them again or not.
buyer beware
ordered two packs of true. hews: not happy at all. both were just bags of remnants and crumbs. i am not buying anything else, i will pick them up in a store as i can inspect the package instead of being shipped garbage.
Jerky Cuts
My babies love them. They ge all excited when they hear the bag open. Doesn't matter where they are they come running
Chicken Not Duck
These are supposed to be duck jerky treats, but what arrived are clearly labeled chicken. Also, they were packed underneath a 30lb bag of dog food and sort of squished together.
Awesome Treat
My dogs, big or small, love these jerky treats! It doesn't matter if I buy the duck or the chicken, when they here the bag russle they come running!
Crazy for jerky
My babies love their jerky. It is something that all 3 can eat and I love that. So far this jerky is affordable and I hope it does not go up like the last one they liked.
