I’ve fed my dog this kibble for over a year and never had issues until a couple months ago. Since then, we’ve been to her regular vet and emergency vet a few times because her poop was loose and she was having diarrhea on and off, often bloody towards the end and slimy. I’ve cut the kibble out and her symptoms got better immediately. Sad to have to switch kibble brands.
I thought my dog was just regressing with potty training.. she's 5 but is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety. But she was having runny stools inside constantly. I was getting really frustrated but then decided to change her food. Magically it went away.. Then I started giving her the square treats of the same brand (salmon flavor) and just 1 every day when I would leaving thinking a different meat and such a small amount wouldn't matter. Lo and behold she had horrible diarrhea again. We've changed to Purina Pro Plan and have no issues. I googled the food before changing it to see if maybe that was the cause and there were a LOT of people saying this food did the same to their dog. Mine was lucky because she didn't have the blood a lot of dogs ended up having. I worry about how this has affected her health long term and just hope it hasn't.
Normally, Blue Buffalo is the only brand I purchase for my lab. But this food has her throwing up in the middle of the night. I switched to whole proteins (mostly chicken and eggs) for a few days, and she was fine. Went back to this food, and she started throwing up again. Time to switch :(
I needed an alternative and the Chewy representative suggested the perfect substitute for our pet. Company repos are compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional-thank you!
I have in the past loved getting scheduled shippments but i have twice now found that if you change anything in you order it is probably going to be wrong such as 5 times the amount you wanted or double shipments of the same item. I have therefore canceled scheduled shipments and will order only if i need something, that is if I continue order at all.
Super happy and excited that both my fur babies loved it. I’m even happier that my pit is able to eat it without getting sick. He has a very sensitive tummy specially to grain and it’s hard to find a grain free food that they both like it’s affordable and healthy for them. Can’t wait to for my fur babies to try their other flavors!
For over three years now "Jake" has been on a Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken diet and loves it. Each meal is about the same amount, which is devoured enthusiastically without weight gain.
Hi, I recently switched to blue buffalo and it has only made my dog sick. They wont stop vomiting and have constant diarrhea.
My border collies love this food. It high protein they need. This food is for high active dogs.
I have never had a bad experience with Chewy. I heard about them from a friend who was telling me how great their customer service is. I needed them once and couldn't agree more!!
