Blue Buffalo manufactures most of their own dry food and many of their treats. Plus, they work with partners who manufacture their products according to their recipes and specifications. They have strict controls in place to make sure the ingredients meet the highest quality standards. Many of Blue Buffalo's ingredients, such as their grains and most of their meats, come from the U.S. Where possible their suppliers are instructed to source their ingredients from the United States. Where the ingredients are not readily available here in the U.S., such as many vitamins and minerals, their suppliers will only work with reputable foreign companies, and subject all ingredients to rigorous quality testing. None of their primary ingredients are sourced from China. All of their ingredients are USDA approved and inspected.
