Toss the outer cover into the washing machine. It's machine-washable with similar color items in cold water only on the gentle cycle. Then you can tumble dry it.

Great Dog Bed!

We have 3 dogs, 2 Frenchtons and 1 Frenchie, and our littlest out of the three is a bed destroyer. She doesn’t chew them, she goes for either the seams or the soft

We have 3 dogs, 2 Frenchtons and 1 Frenchie, and our littlest out of the three is a bed destroyer. She doesn’t chew them, she goes for either the seams or the soft underbelly found on a lot of dog beds. Most don’t last more than a day with her. But our Frenchie absolutely loves having a bed, so I was on a mission to find something that would stand up to our little destroyer. We got the medium size in red which is big enough to fit 2 of them, but not so big that our 24 lb. Frenchie doesn’t feel comfortable in it alone. The cover is a nice and thick quality microsuede, the seams are well done and tight, and the red is a bold but not in your face red. It’s really a very nice looking bed. It’s also on the heavier side compared to some beds preventing our little one from pulling it around the room in attempts to destroy. The inserts come wrapped in the cover and you assemble once received. It was incredibly easy to do and took me maybe 10 minutes. My only complaint is that the microsuede shows all wet spots very clearly, so if your dog is a licker like ours, know the wet spots will stand out until dried. Issue is easily solved by adding a blanket to the bed though. Our Frenchie loves this bed and so far our little Frenchton hasn’t destroyed it, so I’m very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend.

This is a nice bed!

So far, this seems like it's going to be a nice bed. The material is pretty heavy duty. I bought a medium for my 12 lb. Havanese because he likes to spread out

So far, this seems like it's going to be a nice bed. The material is pretty heavy duty. I bought a medium for my 12 lb. Havanese because he likes to spread out when he sleeps. He loves to bite and dig at these beds though so I was hesitant to order online. He still does that but watching him closely to hopefully end that (he's only 6 months old). However, the material does look and feel as though it can handle the abuse. I do agree with other criticisms about having to put the bed together upon arrival. It was a pain and will not be fun to take apart to wash and put back together which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Challenge to assemble

I was looking for an additional dog bed and went by customer ratings without reading any comments. I suspect if I had I would have learned that assembling this bed

I was looking for an additional dog bed and went by customer ratings without reading any comments. I suspect if I had I would have learned that assembling this bed has its challenges. I spent about 45 minutes, on and off, getting the insides into the cover. Since then, the bed has remained sturdy and is in use by two different 12-pound dogs. So perhaps all that effort was worthwhile?

This bed is attractive & sturdy. So many other dogs beds did not have sturdy sides, except a couple I found that were well over $100! Got the medium size & it was a bit bigger than I anticipated. Priced well. My two dogs love the higher-than-usual sides to lay their heads on. The high sides are one reason I chose this item.
