I used to order the Dr Lyon's dental bones until chewy stopped carrying them and then switched over to Waggletooth Antler dental bones until that brand stopped being carried by chewy as well. The reason I like Dr Lyon's and Waggletooth Antler dental bones is because they had no colors added, mint flavored, and natural which are criteria really hard to find at chewy for dental bones. Many brands are meat flavored. and have color which stain pups teeth, not good. I am happy to be able to switch over to Bocce as it's natural, not colors added, and mint flavored to keep my pups teeth healthy, clean, and her breath smelling better. My pup loves these too. But Bocce dental bones are the only brand that are natural, mint, no colors added on chewy so I hope chewy doesn't stop carrying these dental bones or I won't be able to purchase dental bones from chewy and instead purchase dental bones from grove co. since grove now carries dog products too and they have dental bones that are natural from Shameless Pets that are no colors added and blueberry mint my hubby found as an alternative incase chewy ever stops carrying bocce mint dental bones. We tried those out and my pup loves that too, but chewy has better savings the grove. However, many natural brands chewy used to carry around anymore for dental care and there are less dental natural brands now.
I’ve always been extremely picky about what I feed my dog. And I don’t trust most of the dental chews on the market currently. Most of them seem to be made out of almost raw-hide like materials that just can’t be good for my dogs stomach long-term. So I discovered these dental chews at my local pet store, liked the simple ingredients, decided to give them a try. I didn’t know they’d turn out to be my dogs favorite treat! My pup Cleo goes CRAZY for these! They smell great, leaves her breath fresh, cleans her teeth so well, perfect size for her, great longer lasting chew for daily cleaning! We loved these so much that when they stopped carrying them at the local store I looked them up on here and was super glad to find them! Even picked up a few of the other treats they sell and loved each one of them! I highly recommend these if you’re looking for a daily dental chew, can’t get better than these, the texture is perfect and the ingredients are clean. Plus Cleo loves the taste!
My dog loves these so much! I have to keep a back stock of them because he asks for one every single night. He'll ask for them more than once a day sometimes, but we remind him he only gets one and can usually keep him happy with the Breath treats. He's super picky and Bocce's are the only treats he's always liked.
Bought these to try as an alternative to greenies after hearing that greenies doesn't have all of the best ingredients in them. The ingredient list on these is much smaller. They are a similar type of treat, shape and size wise. My pup seems to like them just as much as she did the greenies. I will be sticking with these as a replacement from now on. ( I only wish they came with an option of more brushy sticks!)
I wanted to try some dental sticks to help my older lab and puppy lab with cleaning their teeth and freshen their breath. This is awesome and does both!
My pups enjoyed a half stick due to the sticks we ordered were meant for mediums dogs. I thought I ordered the small dog version since it gave me a choice but was sent the medium dog.
Our dog loves having his daily brushy sticks! They're often a treat after lunch or dinner, and they really help his breath. Great size and quantity in package!
My dogs both went nuts for these but also have a tendency to inhale them. If you're looking for a gnaw on, solid duration, really get them going kind of dental stick - you're probably better looking elsewhere. If you want something fresh and that your dog will be thrilled about, these are a great option.
Pros: First dental treat that all three dogs agree on. Dogs beg for them in between. Con: Wish they came in a larger "economy" size.
My dog loves these and I love that it has clean ingredients
