Will rubber backed mat stain vinyl plank flooring

Rubber, both the natural and synthetic, is not safe to use with vinyl floors because it reacts with the chemicals found in vinyl and causes staining.

Assuming my dog spills daily, how often would I have to wash this mat? Does water deep through the bottom, or is their a fully waterproof bottom such as rubber or plastic?

Not as useful as I would have liked

Unfortunately you can't put these in the dryer, so after washing you have to line dry it. Wouldn't buy again if I had known this.

The seam is sewn badly. I should have looked closer at the photos and reviews. Don't waste your money. I can't imagine how bad it'll look after it's washed.
