Helps keep floor clean.

It meets our needs, mostly.

We bought this to use under our trash can so that it doesn't slide on our tile floor. It does a decent job, but the rubber is a bit thinner than we'd want.

One of my cats sticks his foot in the water and then licks his paw. Their water bowl was on a rubber-backed fuzzy placemat that I thought would absorb the water

One of my cats sticks his foot in the water and then licks his paw. Their water bowl was on a rubber-backed fuzzy placemat that I thought would absorb the water. Eventually, water soaked through it. It can't happen with this one, although I have to dry the mat at least daily. I do wish it came in a neutral tan or brown but otherwise I'm satisfied.
