Traps litter, but beware

I expected this mat to be like an envelope with three sealed ends and one open end to facilitate emptying the litter it traps. Imagine my surprise when I lifted

I expected this mat to be like an envelope with three sealed ends and one open end to facilitate emptying the litter it traps. Imagine my surprise when I lifted the mat and all the litter it had trapped poured out. Two sides are sealed and two sides are open. I don’t understand why it is designed this way.

Catches litter BUT can’t get urine smell out.

I bought this for my elderly cat who tracks when getting out of the litter box. It does stop the litter from going further (we use wood litter) BUT she either peed

It does stop the litter from going further (we use wood litter) BUT she either peed on the mat or tracked used litter onto the mat and now it smells worse than the litter box. I have hosed it down and bleached it and it still smells awful! Waste of money now I can’t use it.

Hardly catches any litter. Still feel just as much on the floor beneath my feet when I walk by. A dish towel would work better. I would return it if I didn’t have

My furball doesn't seem to like walking on this mat, which is a first. The thickness of the side with holes which faces up is quite thick and sizable holes. So considering

Not worth it

I had a couple if these (purchased elsewhere) & I just didn't like em for my cats. As it turns out I discovered what the real problem is not the mat it was my cats

The litter goes through the top layer and is caught on the sheet underneath. It was a bit large for the space I have to use and it is very difficult to cut but I was able to with a carpet cutting knife.
