what kind of litter bags do I use?

How does one lock the lid to the bottom when we have a liner in place? We cannot get the sliding lock mechanisms to go through the holes and lock if we're using a liner.

I had the same problem. I have to try multiple times to get each lock to lock into place but I finally get it to work. Thankfully I can scope the box by opening the top hatch and only have to take the whole top off when it's time to clean the litter box.

Can entry door/flap be removed while leaving the cleaning flap intact?

Yes! My cat wouldn’t use the door, which can easily be removed while the hinged top flap with the filter remains intact and can still be flipped open for easy cleaning.

Does this work for high peeing cats or does the this allow the pee to get between the middle where the hood and bottom join?

The bottom pan itself measures approximately 9 inches, along the backside and gradually tapers down to 6 inches toward the front. The hood of the pan will fit securely over the bottom pan to keep messes inside.

Large but some other drawbacks

It's nice and large. Forget the door, it sticks or cats can't always get in. When stuck with them in the wig out and end up throwing litter everywhere. Also I use

It's nice and large. Forget the door, it sticks or cats can't always get in. When stuck with them in the wig out and end up throwing litter everywhere. Also I use Slide litter for ease of scooping and changing out litter, I never had an issue with this litter till this box. It sticks to sides making it hard to scoop (I have an old male, 18, who likes to urinate around perimeter). The large size is nice for more than one cat however a bit cumbersome to completely empty and with litter sticking I have to take down 8 stairs to go outside, hose it out, then let it completely dry, so that's a big drawback for me (I will add it do have some health problems that effect strength and mobility). I actually ended up putting at curb with free sign. No one took so it went in trash hopper :( Might work for some with more strength and door removed.

It looks great and already she’s (Nala) getting use to it of course! I love that it’s enclosed too so that she can’t make a mess while trying to dig in the kitty

I soak and scrub it regularly as well as scoop it daily. One of my cats has taken to going right outside the box on the mat instead. The one I bought yrs before I still have and is fine.

Been using it for about 3 weeks. My cat adjusted to it very quickly and the door works pretty good. Although just a tip if anyone is concerned with it: the transparent door can be hard for cats especially older cats, mine tested it with her paws a few time to make sure how it swings and how much she can squeeze herself into. I found adding blue color tapes or stickers help. It’s easier for the cats to see the door and be sure when they move around it. Anyway mostly pretty good.

Excellent box but you cannot find litter liners that fit it . The cat it liners are to thin ,they rip easy and the cat leaves holes in them. The box is easy to clean

The cover stays out and catches whatever pee tries to dribble between it and the box, making it v quick and easy to run a disinfecting wipe around the edge of box top and bottom to immediately eliminate any stray urine before it has the chance to stink. I like the top's flap, and if I can ever get all 4 of my cats to adjust to the swinging door, I'll be in litter box heaven. I bought two. Easy to clean and did I mention it's huge?

I've been looking for a large litter box that really was larger than a regular box by dimensions and this one fits the bill. Rubin took right to it. I kept the door off as he's a kitten now and not strong enough to open the door. Without the door I can clean the box without taking off the top and it keeps all the litter inside. Purrfect!
