I ordered this based on the high rating and thinking it would work better for those tiny pieces that slip through the cracks on the cheap plastic scoops. When this arrived, I was disappointed because the width of the openings wasn't any smaller than my plastic scoop. However, when I began using the new scoop, it worked so much better. I think it may have to do with the way the openings are laid out.

He's gotta go in there like a mafia boss trying to bury fat tony, and I have to come in behind him like J. Edgar Hoover with a search warrant looking for the evidence so I can press charges. So if you got a mobster for a cat, you'll need this shovel.

This is a great scoop for the litter box. I had an old plastic one and was looking for a new one. I saw the good reviews on this one and so glad I bought it. It scoops up even tiny bits from the litter box and is so well built. So much better than plastic and easier to use. I highly recommend it.

Although extremely high quality product to ensure scooping all used cat litter in box, it was awkward to use and was too heavy to scoop up used litter. I had thought

Although extremely high quality product to ensure scooping all used cat litter in box, it was awkward to use and was too heavy to scoop up used litter. I had thought by getting a metal scoop it would not break as easily as the plastic scoops. But if I can't lift the weight of the scooper with the used litter, the product is useless. Since it only came in covered plastic wrap, I only have the scoop itself to request a return. Thought your return policy wouldn't cover this item.

Too slow!

I like the metal sturdiness-- with four cats, all our litterboxes need scooped often, ha! But the slots in this are so small that it takes a lot longer to sift through
