The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that when I shake off the mat, some of the litter stays stuck in the mat texture. This makes me a little nervous about how well it will clean when it gets accidentally peed on in the future.

I bought this for my Lucy for some reason she doesn't like peeing in the litter box, so I put this mat in front of the litter box, and it holds it in and doesn't get on my carpet, which I love. I even took her to the vet just for them to tell me she has bad behavior when she does this, so this is a good buy if you have a cat that doesn't like peeing in the litter box

We keep these mats by each litter box location, and they've been great at catching any stray pieces of litter (we use a mix of World's Best + Dr. Elsey's attractant

We keep these mats by each litter box location, and they've been great at catching any stray pieces of litter (we use a mix of World's Best + Dr. Elsey's attractant litters). The kittens have no issues with the texture of the mats, and actually like to play with their toys on them as well. I found it pretty easy to vacuum litter pieces out of the mats, which spares us from having to haul them outside to clean.
