What is it the difference between these and 8-9” size Bones & Chews Rawhide besides the length? Are the 10” a thinning diameter?

The Bones & Chews 10” Rawhide sticks will have a diameter range of 0.75”-1.5”. While the Bones & Chews 8-9” Rawhide Retriever sticks will have a diameter range of 1.5”-2”. The Rawhide Retriever sticks are also slightly heavier due to the larger diameter.

Big NO for us.

These rawhides are super hard, they are not easy for the dog to eat. They get very slimy when chewed and could cause choking

The chewies I ordered are very thin, they take even the little dog, Delbert 20 minutes and the chewie is gone! We went through these very quickly

Awful and likely dangerous

My 60lb husky/German shepherd mix loves to chew and well-made, thick, tightly wrapped rawhides provide a satisfying treat/activity for her. These are thin, brittle, and shatter easily creating a choking hazard, among other things. Rawhides always carry a risk, but well-made products consumed under supervision help manage that risk. These are NOT safe under any circumstances as far as I can tell and I won’t be giving her any more.

good size for medium/large dogs

My heavy chewer (40lb Catahoula/cattle dog mix) finished this off in under 5 minutes, which is much longer than usual. My light chewer (75lb australian shepherd) can make it last an hour. The price was good for the size. The heavy chewer can eat this dollar value in seconds normally.

No good, too brittle

These can be chewed up in 5 minutes ... way too brittle. I saw one person say splinter ... that might be right. They're not a normal chewy ... way too dry or not thick enough rawhide.

Lasted literally 8min

My 55lb lab mix went through one of these in under 10min like it was a twig, also makes a mess with chips and flakes, 17 more to go! Won't be purchasing again.

Splinters, not happy

Definitely not happy with this purchase, these immediately began splintering which made me nervous as the pieces were very sharp
