Our new puppy absolutely devoured a perfectly size bone dog treat biscuit with her being just a five month old puppy and having enough energy for everybody in the family and then more I thought maybe trying to give a calming bone would be a wild shot. I cant say it calmed her much. It definitely satisfied her appetite and her cravings and left her wanting more, definitely a product will be purchasing more of. With all the different treats and biscuits out there and so many to try for a new owner of our first puppy. We decided to try boonies since it was on sale and now are sold. If you havent tried it yet try one of the many different types they have it wont be wasted.
I found these during Christmas time 2022 and boy my dog loves these! She’s a bull dog mix and if I give her a choice of which treat she wants these are always her first choice! I just ordered a ton more but wish I could find the large size in a bag. If you are thinking of getting these definitely order enough to last a while. Here’s a picture of her patiently waiting for her favorite treat.
I am so glad I only bought one bone because this did ABSOLUTELY nothing with calming my 2 1/2-year-old Beagle. She liked the treat but did it do any calming? Yeah, I don't think so.
I didn't notice any calming effect, but my dog enjoyed the bone.
I’m not sure they calm my 230 lbs mastiffs, but they definitely are a high value, get in my crates on command treat. They are low cal and easy to pack for office trips and my pups especially like them straight from the freezer.
Can’t say Dakota loves them but she does eventually eat them. Do they work? Not in the calming department but my girl has many issues from being abused badly before I found her. I think that if she had mild issues, the ingredients would prove useful for her. Try it and it you think it works, keep getting them or try the hemp products. I’ve heard good stuff on a lot of c.b.d. and hemp products.
Well, my two darlins' loved the bones, but there was no visible calming effect on these two. I bought them for that effect, so I don't think I'll buy them again.
Though it is definitely not a long lasting chew, I will say it is a great prolonged treat. My rat terrier Izzy is an anxious little beast and she needs to chew. She immediately dove into this one and them swiftly crashed upon finishing.
He is very picky with which bones he likes and he ate this one within 15 minutes, but he was so calm.
Louie like the taste of the bone but it didn't calm him any.
