Peanut Butter Flavor

I bought a box of 6 for my yorkie’s 4th birthday on Jan 11. These are a little thick for a small breed dog so I tried splitting the cookie in half, Oreo style. But

I bought a box of 6 for my yorkie’s 4th birthday on Jan 11. These are a little thick for a small breed dog so I tried splitting the cookie in half, Oreo style. But these cookies are so hard, I couldn’t twist it apart. I had to use a knife to get the cookie apart. Unlike an Oreo, the filling in these stays glued to one side of the cookie. My dog seems to enjoy it and a half cookie is more than plenty for very small dogs. The cookies expiration date is 19 Jan 2025 which is 1 week away, so I tried giving a whole cookie to my dog. He didn’t know what to do with it. He rolled it around on the floor and chased after it. After rolling it around for awhile, he finally ate it. These cookies are hard as a rock and very difficult to break in half. Not sure if it’s because they are reaching end of shelf life or if this is how they are when fresh. Since my dog seems to like the flavor I gave the cookies 4 stars.
