Which size would you recommend for a 40-50lb dogs?
Answer by WickedDogs2020Apr 17, 2022
the medium booster bath would work .

What about on a cold day can we make the water warm?
Answer by ChewyJul 23, 2017
This product comes with a fan nozzle that attaches to your own garden hose, so it depends on the capabilities of your faucet.

Connection to spigot. What type of spigots besides an out hydrant can it be connected to? Wanting to attach to bathroom sink spigot.
Answer by ChewyFeb 19, 2018
The shower head attaches to outdoors hoses but if you get a hose that can attach to sink faucet on one side and then shower head on the other it should work.

I am planning on using this in my bathroom with two legs in the tub and two legs out as suggested by one of the reviews. How tall are the legs on the Medium vs the Large from the floor to the bottom of the Booster Bath?
Answer by ChewyFeb 27, 2019
The Medium size will have a leg length of 23 inches. The Large and X-Large have a leg length of 19 inches.

Loved it, wish the assembly wasn’t so hard.

I have 6 large dogs, all over 60 pounds. Bought the XLarge tub, plus the steps. Only two used the steps, and the rest I had to carry, but the steps helped me, as they got down. The steps were a good call, and fit perfectly. As for the assembly, Oy!!l the small screws to cover the larger screws cap, were so hard, seems like they didn’t make the holes deep enough, that you have to really dig deep, to open a hole in the plastic. My wrist. But besides that, everything else was simple. The dogs all stayed put thanks to the hook. It was quick and my back felt great afterwards. It was also quick to clean and store away. The drain I placed in the grass, so my grass was watered as they bathed lol

little low I'm 5 10

Dog is bout 50 lbs. She fits well. The 3 point leash is a little long will have to shorten it as my dog is a little jumpy and tried to jump out last bath. My biggest request is that it is a little low so I still have to bend down a bit. I am going to put it up on rail ties or cinder blocks to make it the right height. A little pricey, but works otherwise. Lets see how it stands the test of time. I'm in a mild climate in southern California. Not sure how well it would hold up if it was freezing and thawing.

Great for all dogs

I've had it for 3 years and use it on my 2 small dogs and large golden. It's been great and doesn't make your back hurt. The only downfall is my golden jumped on it and a leg snapped off, not sure if it can be fixed or replaced so waiting to hear back.

Next size up please!

I have two doodles, with back lengths of 22-24”. Looking through pictures of dogs and the bath sizes, it was pretty hard to figure out what size might be best. I erred on the size of smaller and taller, as my back hurting with regular tub bathes was a reason for getting this elevated bath. Sharing this picture so others might see how small the medium is compared to a 55lb 24” at back Sheepadoodle (medium size). We’re going to go with a size up! :-) Otherwise, easy to assemble and hooked up to hose nicely.

Good outside dog bath

This would be great for outside. It is fairly sturdy, although when my large dogs jump into it, is wobbles, scaring them. I have not yet assembled it, but it looks fairly easy. It is not heavy, and easy to move. This will be in my garage so I have hot and cold water. I am concerned water will splash out the open end. Also, it is pretty tight for my 100 lb. dog to turn around to get out. There is no step for the XL - so you will need to come up with something for the dog to get inside.

Love this tub!

We have 3 labs that range between 55-115 lbs. This tub was so sturdy and the dogs love it!! I definitely recommend!!!

Great for your back!!! but there’s cons!!!!

This product is great but I wish there was a drain in the front because the water just stays up there in the front causing you to push the water down where the drain is. Also, I wish this product came with the steps instead of buying it separately because you’re paying $178+ for no steps. But my dog enjoyed the tub.

Great Tub for All Sizes

I purchased this for my dog daycare business so we could offer a DIY wash. It is a great size and holds small to fairly large dogs (labs, great dane puppy, mutts, etc.). It was easy to put together and is sturdy. The one thing I don't like is that where it drains there's a "moat" around the drain hole and water and dirt / rocks can collect there. It's not a huge issue but something that could be considered in the next design.

Good product could be great.

Pros: sturdy and well constructed. My dog loves being in the tub as much as his bed. I couldn't get it assembled before he jumped in and didn't want to get out. It was easy to assemble and light enough to move easily. The elevated tub makes washing the dog easy without having to bend over. Cons: The drain hose disconnects easily. It came loose spilling water on the floor just minutes into our dogs first bath. A positive locking connection would greatly improve the connection of the drain hose. Will add a hose clamp to improve the connection but a simple twist lock connection would resolve the issue Overall I really like the booster bath. Would recommend this product to anyone wanting to groom their own dog.

Makes it easy to wash the dogs

I have been bathing my dogs in bath tubs for years but my back hurts with two dogs. I have two bulldogs that I started fostering and clearly have not been bathed regularly. Once put together we found it was very sturdy. I like the collar that keeps them still the drain is quick and doesn’t get backed up. My only negative is the attachment on the hose is big and makes it hard to get under their bellies. So we have to take it off to rinse under the bellies really good.
