When I first saw this item, I thought 'Woo Hoo! no more back pain for me!" I watched the video that demonstrates the Booster Bath in use and decided to purchase. The setup was easy, thank goodness. The concept is nice and the holder for shampoo is a plus. Now, I have a puppy (pit 9mths) and she won't use the little staircase that attaches to the bath. Although there are only 3 steps, the steps are very narrow and small. My husband has to lift her into the tub, not good on the back, especially when she doesn't want to be in it. The Booster Bath is made of plastic (?) so it's not sturdy. The 3 part holder/collar is a good idea, but my puppy will move front and hind legs to try to get out. With that said, bath time is a two person job with this tub. One person to holder her in place and the other to wash. I've used the tub at least 4 times and will continue to use it, with caution. As my puppy gets older I hope she'll be more relaxed in this tub and allow bath time to go smoothly. … more

  • Booster bath

This bath was a life saver. Not to mention a back saver. I recently had my old bathtub replaced with a tile shower and was wondering if I was going to have to shower with my furbabies, so on the hunt I went for a reasonably priced portable bath to fit into my shower. When I found this one I didn't hesitate ordering and am so happy I did. I love the three point harness and collar that is included with this tub and the shampoo holder makes it quite convenient. I also love that when not in use I just take the legs off, put them inside the tub and it easily stores on a shelf in my laundry room. I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone who bathes their own furbabies.

  • Great Tub

    By on

We got all three of our dogs washed in under an hour. This tub is sturdy and well designed, with a non-slip surface, and a great hose wand for quicker and more thorough baths. And of course the height is extremely helpful in preventing back aches. We bought this with the stair steps.

  • Good product

I have three terriers and bending over causes back pain for my husband and I. I thought about ways to raise the dogs up higher then typed in dog baths. This is the best purchase I have made in a while the dogs feel safe and I don't have to bend over. Makes bath day much better

  • Easy to use dog bathing center

    By on

Assembly instructions were great, and assembly was easy as can be. The bath is very sturdy and easy to use. We were able to bath all four of our dogs in nothing flat, and they enjoyed the experience. Sure beats using the bathtub, and the clean-up is much easier.

  • I would have returned it

    By on

I would have returned this item except a family member set it up before I looked at it. The instructions say once the 2 sections are snapped together they are not designed to come apart. For the price and 5 star reviews I felt confident that this was a good purchase. First, this is not commercial grade. The plastic sides are flimsy. I have used a similar style before that was much sturdier. Second, I felt the large size with weights up to 125 would fit my largest 64lb Aussie. I'd hate to put a 125lb dog in this size. My big boy barely fits. Thirdly, if you want to use hot water the company will sell you an extra part called the Tropic Shower. I only looked briefly through Chewy products I would have returned this item except a family member set it up before I looked at it. Not sure what it costs, but at $150 for a small molded plastic tub they could have included the hoses for attaching to your washer and garden hose if you want warm water. The best thing about this tub is the harness which is heavy duty, and so are the eye hooks holding the harness in place. Not so sure the sides will hold the eye hooks for long. We can probably come up with our own way to hook up the hot water. This tub would be good for an occasional doggy wash, but over priced for the quality you get. I do love the pink color I ordered, but would not buy another. If it doesn't work well when I finally get to washing a dog I will return it because of the high price. … more

  • Good price, cute tub, but bad instructions to assemble and use.

    By on

Booster Bath has quite a few promo videos on the Internet, but they omit important details regarding the assembly and use of this product. One video shows a small girl taking the Booster Bath out of its box. She just snaps the four legs onto the bottom of the tub, and that's all there is to it. Believe me, it's not that simple. The instructions do not contain a list of parts to be assembled. They also do not show a full picture of the parts, making them hard to identify. I managed to get the legs properly snapped into place, but the next instruction gave me a headache. It said, "Put 12 rubber bumpers into receiving holes in the bottom of each booster pedestal." I managed to get the legs properly snapped into place, but the next instruction gave me a headache. It said, "Put 12 rubber bumpers into receiving holes in the bottom of each booster pedestal." The picture showed one bumper and one hole, but it didn't show anything else. The rubber bumpers obviously help the tub stay in place, but the legs didn't have any holes to hold them. I soon came to the conclusion that the Booster Bath was a really a Booster Bomb and that I would be better off sending it back to its creator. As I was stuffing the parts back into the box, I ran across four small pieces. I noticed the little pieces had holes in them. I counted the holes. There were twelve of them. Lo and Behold! I had finally found the pedestals, but if the instructions had given any indication that they were not attached to the legs, I would have found them sooner. Booster Bath boasts that the tub can be used indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, we see a dog being rinsed with a garden hose. We see the water leaving the tub though the drain tube on its way to saturate the ground. I wondered if a puddle of water formed when the ground became saturated. I also wondered how the dog could tolerate the icy water in the garden hose, but Booster Bath soon reveals that the hose is not just a garden hose. It's really a washing machine hose. Booster Bath expects you to use your washing machine plumbing, and if you want to bath your dog indoors, your laundry room better have a drain built into the floor. My washing machine sits in a tiny closet. Closets don't have drains in the floor. I can't reach the fixtures, but even if I could, I'm not about to purchase longer hoses with special fittings just to accommodate the Booster Bath. Booster Bath looks easy to use outdoors, but they don't demonstrate a simple way to use the tub indoors. I had to figure that one out on my own. I live in an apartment. The only indoor drain that could accommodate the Booster Bath is in the bathtub, so I placed the little tub next to the big tub and put the drain hose there. Booster Bath comes with a nice nozzle that clips to the side of the tub. The nozzle makes it easy to turn the water on and off. Unfortunately, the nozzle is useless if you don't have a garden hose attached to it. I soon came to the realization that I didn't need a garden hose. My bathtub has its own hose. It's long and it's attached to my handheld shower. It's difficult to adjust the water pressure and I can't turn the shower on and off very easily, but I can still use it to wash my dog in the Booster Bath. The drain's another issue, but not a major one. The drain hose is not threaded. It's just pushed into a hole in the bottom of the tub. When I was done bathing my dog, I moved the tiny tub away from the big tub. I didn't move it far, or with any force, but the drain hose slipped out of the bottom of the tub and spilled its contents on to my bathmat. Be forewarned, that if the Booster Bath gets bumped, the drain hose can easily fall out of place. … more

  • Great tub!

    By on

This doggy bathtub is great in so many ways. It's easy to use and easy on the back by not having to bend over. I also like the fact that it's mobile. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I think that there should be some added features like different water sprayers. I have one dog that loves the shower type of head and another that loves the flat spray.

  • Great paw-duct :)

    By on

My pups have been so easy to bathe while using this. I have 5, and it is super time consuming to wash them in general but I can get all 5 done in about 1 1/2 hours, which includes drying, hair cuts, and nail trimming. I couldn't have asked for a better product!

  • the product is great

I use mine at least once a week. Have used this one for 14 years. I have used it for my9 show dogs. They are used at many shows. They are great. Will need to replace it as the tub has a crack and the sprayer's hook broke off.
