    Worth the money

By RonaUSA on Apr 1, 2021

Our dog is a courser and will take off after anything that moves. This is pretty light but strong and gives him plenty of room to roam in our yard without worry that he'll take off after something and get splatted on the road. I find the catch rather strange - unlike a carabiner it clips out not in, or it would have got 5 stars.

    perfect for an escape artist

By Samantha on Jan 5, 2021

After our escape artist beagle undid the the clip on her run, we decided to get this with the swivel out clasp so she wouldn’t be able to do that again. We use these types of clasps on the farm for the cows tie up areas and they can’t escape so hopefully Rosie can’t either!

    Be very careful

By nickname on Sep 18, 2020

Be careful our 45 pound husky broke the swivel clip right off in less then a year. He is a strong dog but nowhere near the 125 pound weight they claim. Apparently we come to find out the actual pounds do not mean anything and we were told from the company they do not warranty this item. So we will be going with a different company that offers a warranty and can back their product.

    Sturdy, worth it

By Violetsmom on Oct 5, 2020

Overall very heavy but my English Bulldog did not seem to mind. The latch swivels which is a definite plus. The latch opens out instead of pushes in- hard to latch. Kept my dog secure while camping. Would recommend for a sturdy work type dog.

    strong and durable

By Beck on Sep 10, 2020

This item is as thick and heavy as they come, and the spring loaded cable is sure to keep my 50lb husky Shepard mix from getting off her lead. The clasps you’re open the clip are a bit tough to open, but I would rather take the time to do so knowing it’s that much harder for her to get out of them

    BE AWARE Of hooking mechanism.

By Robin on Jun 12, 2020

I really like the quality of this tie out BUT I am a 62 year old woman with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The hook, that attaches to my dogs collar is a HEAVY DUTY one and is very difficult to work with. You must maneuver it outward to clip it in the collar and that is VERY difficult. It is very safe and secure once clipped, but getting it clipped is difficult for me.

Love the lock on this tether

By Natale on Jul 24, 2020

Our dog has been able to sneak out of her current tether and I needed to find a different type of locking mechanism. This one is great, she can not release it, so I love that she is safe.

    Held up for 8 1/2 months Aug-May

By Kylie on May 5, 2020

For the price, I think this product is awesome!!! Our mutt is only about 70 lbs, but he's a mix of ridgeback, vizsla, and rottweiler. He literally climbs our 4 ft. chain link fence and runs like a cheetah. He chases our husky/lab mix around that yard and she gets him tangled under our trampoline at least once a day. Never had a problem with this lead until today when our boy was pulling cause he wanted to play with the German shepherd a few yards over. We're upgrading to the 250lb lead in hopes that we'll get at least a little more life out of it. Also should mention that this lead was connected to a tree in the backyard exposed to the elements 24/7. Northern Kentucky doesn't have the worst climate For the price, I think this product is awesome!!! Our mutt is only about 70 lbs, but he's a mix of ridgeback, vizsla, and rottweiler.
