great for large dogs
this works very well with dogs that have very large and thick nails. very easy to use.
Works amazing on my mastiffs thick tough nails, these are heavy and the guard prevented me cutting too short. Sliced right through so my giant scaredy cat barely noticed and we were done in minutes.
My pets have never had softer coats and its so easy to store! Couldn’t recommend this enough! Big bang for your buck!
These are not bad!
I like these a lot. They’re easy to use and they cut very easily. The spring on this does get jammed from time to time but it always goes back to normal so i think it’s still worth it
These are the best nail clippers I’ve ever bought. They are heavy duty but lightweight and they are sharp. I’ve always used CHI products for myself and even used them as a professional nail tech and now I can treat my babies to their products. I would definitely purchase these again!
Finally a sharp clipper!
These clippers are hands-down the best I have ever tried. I've bought cheaper ones and also the guillotine style in the past with my medium sized cur and they just bent and split her nails. These clippers are very sharp and cut the nail cleanly on the first try. I can get all my dog's nails done in a quarter of the time and she doesn't mind it because it goes so quickly. I use the medium-large size for my 40 lb dog and will never get another kind of clipper!
Best clippers ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Made clipping big dog nails easy
I have a 120 pound Lab/St Bernard mix who is afraid of everything and doesn't like nails clipped. I only outweigh him by about 20 pounds, and I have very small hands. These are the first pair I have found that I can actually cut through his big dog nails with. And they are easy to handle, but I did spray them with some WD-40 before using them, on the bolt, both sides, and on each spring, then squeeze them shut about 20 times. This makes them so much easier to handle. They are very very sharp though, so make sure you cut the nails in small amounts. I will be purchasing another pair for when these get dull. They are totally worth the cost to me so that my big dog will not get another split nail, which are extremely painful, and he doesn't want that to happen to him again. Poor boy.
These clipper are the greatest. I was able to trim my dogs nails back more then I ever had b4. I got these because I couldn't find the pair I had. Now I think I will throw away the other pair and keep these.
Jamming on first use
Clippers jammed on first use and don't reopen again unless you use to hands to pull it.open. Very disappointed. Definitely do not recommend
