Is this good for a small dog?

Answer by ChewyMar 07, 2025
This collar is suitable for dogs weighing 5 to 120 pounds. The collar is adjustable to fit neck sizes 6 to 27 inches.

Does this collar have continuous stimulation while holding the button?

Answer by ChewyFeb 27, 2025
For safety reasons, if you hold down the button, the receiver will deliver stimulation for 10 seconds and then stop. If you still need to deliver stimulation, release the button and then press it again.

What is the key fob for in the first picture?

Answer by ChewyApr 14, 2025
The keychain is a bell that serves as an attention-getter and prompt in place of human-issued verbal rewards. It can accurately deliver rewards to the dog, bypassing the verbal and emotional inaccuracies of beginners and preventing the dog from being misled by incorrect commands.

Can you channel two collars with the same remote?

Answer by ChewyJul 31, 2025
The remote features two channels to control up to two dog collars.

I have a 47lb playful puppy who is 7 months. I also have 2 very sweet cats who were too nice to correct the puppy when she was too rambunctious and chasing them every time they came out of hiding. Of course, they’d run away from her which made it more fun for her. I was a little upset to have to buy a shock collar but was at a loss on what to do to help her stop terrifying my poor cats, but was so pleased with this collar to find out it has a “beep” mode and a vibration mode along with the shock mode. I love that this collar comes with a tester so you can test even the shock features to make sure the collar isn’t defective, but I also tested the collar on myself first, of course, before using it on my dog. (Level 1 of shock I couldn’t even feel. Level 2 you can feel a little. Level 3 gives you a little zap. Level 4 is where it starts to make you jump, and I stopped there.) The metal contact points can come off (I have done that since vibration mode worked for my dog) which removes the shock feature but still allows for sound and vibration. So even if the remote is bumped, it can’t accidentally shock her. If I could get away without using the shock mode, I was going to. So I started with the beep first, which caused a little confusion for a millisecond, but not the desired effect from my dog. Moved to the vibration mode next, and boom. No pain, but the vibration is strong enough to catch her off guard a bit. She now thinks the cats have magical powers, thinking they can make her collar buzz without them even touching her. I’m now so happy to report that after about 2 weeks, she now respects the cat’s space without even wearing the collar. No pain, no making mom yell.. just a respectful, balanced home now.

Charge lasts forever

How many other training collars are we constantly charging? How many times have we all needed the collar and it’s plugged in charging? These collars and remotes hold their charge for days and days. We have a huge problem with our dog and the neighbors dog barking at the fence, running up and down the fence. While my neighbors dog still does this my dog has stopped (so far). A simple beep gets her attention and she then pays perfect attention to the command I am giving her. She’s a very good dog until she and the neighbor dog meet at the fence. This collar has changed everything for the better. No more yelling at my dog to stop, no more trying to get in her path of running up and down the fence to reason with her. No more bribing her with treats. Which I know all of these things just made that issue worse. This collar allows for calm confident training. And my dog and I are better for it. She’s a smart dog and now her emotions are in check with the neighbors dog. She behave better now than the other dog with a simple beep and a calm command.
