Long battery life

I bought this for my bully puppy. I chose this collar because my adult pitbull has the same brand but it is a bit better than this collar. I wanted something inexpensive

I bought this for my bully puppy. I chose this collar because my adult pitbull has the same brand but it is a bit better than this collar. I wanted something inexpensive until she was much older. However, she is a year and a half and we are still using this collar. Works well for training. She is a rough and very energetic girl. She did put wear and tear on the nylon collar. The tester has a tool on it to tighten the prongs. I seen a comment about them coming loose. It took me a few years before this collar to figure that out. Use the test tool for tightening the prongs and they do not come loose. I check mine every now and then. I’ve never had to tighten them (after discovering the tool on the tester.) I highly recommend this collar for sure. Works for me and my bully. We hardly use it much due to the fact she is very well trained now.

Outstanding product

I put the collar on her she left the yard I beeped her vibrator then shocked her it took four times on the fourth time she turn around and came to me. An hour later

An hour later she left the yard and I called her whistled vibrated shocker one time she come running back home. 2 hours later she left the yard again called her she wouldn't come beeped her vibrator shocked her it took two times she come running home that was the end of day one. Put the collar on her she left the yard I push the whistle button push the vibrate button she came home didn't have to shock her. Day three so far she hasn't left the yard

really works well

I live in an HOA community and we are not allowed to have a privacy fence only black aluminum. so all the neighbor dogs can see each other and the barking is out

I live in an HOA community and we are not allowed to have a privacy fence only black aluminum. so all the neighbor dogs can see each other and the barking is out of control. This color has a bell, vibrate and shock. I have to say the bell and vibrate didn't do anything to stop him, he is a barker. but low shock he didn't care for at att. after using the shock level 2 a couple of times I no longer have to use it the vibrate seems to deter his barking. Much improvement and the Karen in my neighborhood that turns everyone in hopefully is happy now.

Ease of use and the adjustable collar that fits a small or big dog

Cupcake pretends to be deaf sometimes or as some call it selective hearing loss. So I love the sound and vibration mode which helps Cupcake to use her ears and respond to us calling her. So far we haven't had to use the shock feature but plan to if she does anything dangerous like run after a vehicle on our country road. She loves everyone and has tried to join the girls cross country team. She ran after a truck on our dead end road a couple weeks ago thinking it might be someone she knows. Those types of behaviors will good times to use the shock feature.

Poor quality components

I had to tighten the contact points on the collar before putting it on my dog every day because they loosen so much on their own. Despite tightening them before a run yesterday, the contact points and the contact spring sheet fell out and are not recoverable. My dog has a super thick coat, so only the tone works on him now. Going to look into investing in a hunting training collar for the stimulation plus better tracking than Tractive. This collar worked alright before the essential parts came loose. I do appreciate that it's rechargeable and the remote is light weight and easy to use.

My 2-year old pup was adopted just before Easter and immediately fell in love with my cat. He wants to play with her all the time and he plays rough. Nothing I did would get him to stop. When this arrived, he saw it and ran and hid. He knew what it was! As long as he’s wearing it, the poor cat is safe. I usually just use the sound, but have used vibrate on occasion. It’s working well. I thank you and my cat thanks you.

I've had this collar a while now to train a 2 year old pug with food aggression, non-stop barking, and that causes fights. The collar wasn't working even when we put the shock to 7. We added the extra prongs, thinking it would get through the fur better but still not having any effect. My advice, find something better.

My female Yorkie is very aggressive to her mini dauchshund brother. We've tried all types of methods to change her behavior from CBD chews, aromatherapy patches, vet visits with two different medications prescribed, online training, nothing has made a difference. But this collar has. I was hesitant because I thought it cruel because of the shock. Desperation took over and I purchased this. I have mainly used the beep function and occasionally escalated to the vibration mode. It stops her in her tracks. My formerly mean child is being so good. Best Chewy purchase ever!
