Overall Baxter thinks the Tic Tac Treat Dispensing Dog Toy is hit & great for rainy day fun. The toy has blue and yellow cubes, the colors dogs can see! The difficulty level can be changed by adding the removable block. Baxter is 11 years old and can enjoy this toy lying down. That’s very important because he has had three leg surgeries! Dogs of course can do this standing up if they have no problems like him. I removed one star because I wish the treat compartments could be deeper. They are shallow and it’s hard to get some threats thin enough to close it.

This is a small puzzle that my pup was VERY interested in as she is very treat motivated. The puzzle is well made and the pieces slide very easily. Unfortunately my girl lacks decorum and patience. She didn't want to take that extra second to slide the pieces. She knew there were treats there and she wanted them NOW. I demonstrated the pieces sliding several times, however she thought the 2 paw attack mode made much more sense and would yield quicker results! The puzzle held up great to her assault with zero damages! I think this item would work well with smaller sized dogs! My pups paw size and her excitement were too much for this type of activity.

Good for a new learner!

While my dog generally enjoyed this puzzle, it wasn't his favorite. The blocks only slide and don't open up. He has a different puzzle where the blocks both slide and open, which takes longer to figure out and keep him occupied. He seems to prefer that type. However, for a puppy or a dog that's just learning to do puzzles, this would be a good choice. It is sturdy and able to withstand my dog trying to bite the blocks.

Whenever my dogs catch sight of the puzzle, they go crazy with excitement until I let them play. While I know it's mostly about the treats, I feel good knowing they're mentally engaged in earning them. I really value the smooth movement and high quality of the sliding pieces.

My dog absolutely loved this puzzle! It was just the right level of challenge. He had to really think about how to slide each piece one at a time to uncover the treats. It took him a while to figure it out, which made it even more rewarding to watch. Best part? It kept him engaged and entertained for over 20 minutes.

Super fun puzzle toy

So this has a picture of a German shepherd on the box, but when I opened it, I was very skeptical that it was large enough for my dog. However, she loved it immediately!

So this has a picture of a German shepherd on the box, but when I opened it, I was very skeptical that it was large enough for my dog. However, she loved it immediately! Only down side is she brings it back to me all slobbery for refills 😁 She's supposed to be watching her weight, and this will be a great tool to assist.

Best for smarties

This product is made very well. The plastic is strong and durable, and the puzzle has rubber grommets on the bottom to prevent it from moving when your pooch plays

This product is made very well. The plastic is strong and durable, and the puzzle has rubber grommets on the bottom to prevent it from moving when your pooch plays with it. That said, my dog never got to the point where he was moving the pieces to get the treats. He kind of just stared Nd pawed at it. My dog is of average intelligence and he just didn't get it.

What a great treat puzzle. My dog is a senior (15 years old) and I try to do everything I can to keep his mind sharp. This is a great puzzle that isn't too difficult but also keeps him engaged. Highly recommend for senior pups and imagine it would be fun for younger pups as well that tend to eat their treats too fast!

I use the brightkins tic tac treat dispensing toy while eating my meals. My lab retriever is 85 lbs. and use's his nose and tongue to slide the puzzle pieces to get his treats. I have put some treats right on top of the toy and hide it to make him " find it". he gets excited when I pick up his dispensing toy to fill it and I am able to eat my meal without him begging because he is happy to find his treats.
