I used to have 5-6 regular pigeon visitors to my yard who would eat up the food that had fallen out of the feeder. I got this to try to encourage more, and now I daily get over a dozen, sometimes more like 20 pigeons at a time! And they stay for much longer. This food is also beloved by the bluejays and grackles, and also the squirrels. The corn is quite large and it's funny to watch the smaller-beaked but confident grackles pick up the corn and carry it around in their beaks before they finally break it up to eat it.

Small corn not so small

Small corn to me is more like popcorn. This is just regular whole corn. Fine for large birds like my fantails but too big for my rollers to want to swallow. Bit

Small corn to me is more like popcorn. This is just regular whole corn. Fine for large birds like my fantails but too big for my rollers to want to swallow. Bit low in protein, at only 11%. Good for non breeding birds in winter just make sure you've got large Breeds of pigeons.

Too much wheat

It’s hard to buy these foods for the first time. The bags are huge and the varieties difficult to understand in terms of the mix. I prefer the bag of Browns Park

It’s hard to buy these foods for the first time. The bags are huge and the varieties difficult to understand in terms of the mix. I prefer the bag of Browns Park Popcorn, less wheat. It’s frustrating buying food for one pigeon. The quality of the seed is excellent but if your pigeon doesn’t like wheat or corn, this isn’t the bag for you. Wish there was a way to try the varieties...I’ve written Browns to no avail. Sigh.
