We normally feed our guinea pigs the Organic Oxbow Adult Pellets but have recently started mixing this in with it. We have three pair of guinea pigs and they all seem to love the smaller bits and pieces of fruit, etc. The thing I really don't like about it (hence the 4 rating instead of 5) is it has these giant pellets of something (maybe alfafa - not sure) which the guinea pigs don't touch. It's labeled as guinea pig food but these pellets are huge and not appropriately sized for a guinea pig. That also makes the weight of the product be higher than it really needs to be as these pellets are the heaviest item in the mix. So what I don't like are these pellets which always just get thrown away as none of the three pair of guinea pigs touch the large pellets. It's fine for us as we mix in the organic Oxbow pellets but I do like the variety of the other items it provides for our guinea pigs and they do seem to love that part. It would be great if this manufacturer made the pellets appropriate for guinea pigs.
I've moved to a different brand. (This brand wasn't my piggies favorite). But it's still a good product.
My piggies all 4 go absolutely wheeky over this stuff.
While this a good food it has a lot of fried fruits and veggies and nuts that are good for the guinea it doesn't seem to have enough Timothy pellets
Our guinea pig Daisy Duke loves the dried fruit in the food. There is a lot of dried fruit in the package. The manufacturer did not skimp and our piggly wiggly is happy about it!!
My guinea pig loves this food it has a great variety of of tasty morsels she loves.
