2 Chinnies turn their butts at me (their equivalent of talk to the hand) if offered this treat. 1 Chinnie sort of eats it. The dog took care of eating what the Chinnies didn't want. Was looking for a replacement of Crump's Naturals Sweet Potato Chips, which they loved. It was unfortunately discontinued. I have been making them (slice thin & dehydrate). It's easy enough, but not as convenient as just opening a bag
I had issues in the past of receiving old stale items from chewy. However, Chewy provided awesome customer service. I took my chance in ordering this last item and it was a 360 turn around. They arrived within a short period of time and were FRESH! I recommend this item highly. My dog loves them. I know it says for hamsters, rabbits and “ other small animals” so I called the company of the product to make sure they were safe for my jack Russell chihuahua mix. They assured me it was. Plus this is the 3rd time ordering and using this product from previous purchases. Like I said before, my dog loves them and there hasn’t been any issues. Thanks chewy for great customer service and for the freshness of this item.
My guinea pig wanted nothing to do with this, he thought it was gross and ran away from it. He never runs. I looked around and there is no options for refunds.
I didn't find out until AFTER I started feeding these to my girl that potatoes, regular and sweet, are bad for bunnies due to the high amount of starch. I think once in a blue moon would be okay, but I wouldn't give these as a regular treat. My bunny did like them though!
I read the reviews so I ordered some for my Bunny, but sadly he didn’t liked it.
My 2 young female rats love this treat. I did cut each stick into 3 pieces as I don't like to give too much treat at a time. It's good to be able to give nutritious treats.
Our rabbit loves these. When we give him one as a treat, he practically dances around the house.
My picky pigs decided this was not for them. They sat in the cage for awhile untouched until I eventually just threw them out. Maybe for someone elses pigs but not mine.
I had a lot of hope for these treats, but they just weren't great. The Rats didn't care for them as much as they do fresh lettuce (which is their favorite treat). They were just too tough and hard. When I first took them out of the package, they seemed okay. They were fairly easily to cut into pieces. But after only a few days, they all got extremely hard; too hard to even cut them with scissors or a sharp knife! They were hard as a rock! Overall, if you have a lot of pets and you'll use them all in a couple of days, I think they would be okay, but they're just too tough for the Ratties (and the others).
Some of my rabbits had an issue biting into this treat some pieces were softer than others. My rabbits enjoyed them after they were chewing for a short amount of time!
