I have three dogs, all seniors, so I am constantly looking for a way to enhance their meals and provide extra nutritional support. We tried Brutus Bone Broth, in the flavor beef, for the first time this week and it was a hit with everyone. I found adding the broth to my 13-year-old labrador’s food particularly helpful as she must eat a soft diet. I also offered my chihuahua some of the broth in a dish and he really enjoyed lapping it up. It was a great way to give him an extra boost of hydration! Another added benefit I discovered was the broth’s addition of glucosamine and chondroitin which help with hip and joint support. The broth is low in calories, sodium, and fat, which is great for dogs (like mine) who tend to gain weight easily. Overall, this was a great addition to my dog's diet!

Small d containers but my dog loves this

I usually use another brand of dried bone broth and I mix it with warm water this I buy him for special and I add it tohis raw food and IMAX water and and he loves

Packaging is a pain

All of the ones I've used in the past have had a narrow spout which makes it easy to give them a light dose (I have small dogs). This stuff comes out way too fast

I really like the packaging and the size of this carton. It is nice because it has the ability to be open in the fridge for 30 days after being opened. It is made in the USA and it is a lovely dark brown color with a good smell to it - It smells like beef bone broth that humans would eat. My senior dog is extremely picky and we use toppers for her food all the time. In fact, we have to rotate toppers because she becomes bored with them. Interestingly, this topper did not really grab her attention too well. She ate with reluctance despite my anticipation that she would really enjoy it. I think most dogs would really enjoy this. It does seem like a healthy alternative to other toppers, which I like! It has hip and joint supplements added to the broth.

I gave the Brutus Bone Broth hip and joint beef as a glucosamine supplement to my 8 year old Schnoodle on his morning egg meal. At first he was hesitant, as it was something new, but after the first few licks he was enthusiastic. He underwent neutering while I was using this product and his energy, appetite and agility were all excellent. The broth is in a convenient, easy to use and store container (it has to be refrigerated after opening), and even smells appetizing. The recommended dose, 1/4 cup, for his weight came out exactly as the amount in the container.

I love the natural ingredients. I tried this with my Shar pei who is over 12 years old and has been slowing down. I can tell her joints are aching. She is actually more energetic and this agrees with her stomach. Other products like this has caused her to have diarrhea, this product has not had that affect on her. We will keep using it. Glad to see improvements in her.

My 95 lb lab mix loved it! First ingredient listed is beef bone broth which is great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because it does contain canola oil. After it’s opened it’s good in the fridge for 30 days. For a larger dog the small container won’t last too long, but it’s great support for pups who are prone to hip and joint issues.

Nice clean ingredients & with glucosamine & chondroitin. I topped my dogs' dry kibble with this & they couldn't eat it fast enough. This broth is a really great & simple way of giving your dog glucosamine & chondroitin. My only downfall with this is that I have 3 large (85-100lb) dogs & the recommended serving size for them is not cost effective for me, but I will recommend this to my friends with dogs smaller than mine or maybe not so many dogs.
