Protein and ingredients

What drew my attention to this product was the ingredients. They seemed to be what I was looking for. My pups are picking eaters on top of that they're allergic

What drew my attention to this product was the ingredients. They seemed to be what I was looking for. My pups are picking eaters on top of that they're allergic to carrots. Sadly, most dog food has carrots. An unnecessary ingredient. My pups only liked the chicken and liver. The rest I had to give away.

I have a little old man mutt who frequently refuses to eat his other fancy wet dog foods. He LOVES these. Eats every bit of it in one sitting, and I'm not sure if its the taste or variety, but we no longer have those sporadic mornings where he just straight up refuses to eat. Highly recommend if you have your own picky old doggo (who maybe doesn't have all their teeth left)!

She likes it!

I mix a teaspoon in her kibble (Taste of the Wild) and she enjoys meals much more. Easy to clip closed and keep in the fridge. Perfect size.

Super Premium Opti Meal

I have many dog and cat rescues. Mostly seniors now. Some are finicky eaters. Snuggles is one of them. As she gets older (over 14) she has stomach issues as well

I have many dog and cat rescues. Mostly seniors now. Some are finicky eaters. Snuggles is one of them. As she gets older (over 14) she has stomach issues as well. Instead of using this as a full meal and to possibly slowly change her food over, I used this as a topper for her dry food. Usually I have to look over her and prompt her to eat. With his placed on top of her dry food along with a little warm water, she gobbled it down without batting an eye. If this continues, I may have to switch topper wet dog food to get her to eat. Looking promising. My other 2 rescues aren't as finicky, but I could tell they really loved it too. I think we have a 3 paws up in our house.

Our little Dachshund Yorkie mix can be a picky eater sometimes. We generally go back and forth between two brands of wet food, but she will sometimes just stop eating

Our little Dachshund Yorkie mix can be a picky eater sometimes. We generally go back and forth between two brands of wet food, but she will sometimes just stop eating them, almost like she is tired of them, and just skip her meal that night. I wasn’t sure how she would take to trying this new food, but she definitely took to it right away. We have gone through half of the box already, and she hasn’t left a bit of food in her bowl once. She even comes back to her bowl looking for more (even though one pouch is plenty big enough for her meal!) Last night, I held a pouch of the Optimeal in one hand and a tub of her regular food in the other hand to see if she would choose. She sniffed the tub, then went to the Optimeal pouch and licked it. I’d say she made her choice loud and clear!

My puppies loved these. They looked healthy and worked really well as a topper for my puppy. My puppy is very slow to eat her food and this appeared to make her normal kibble more appetizing to her. She ate it right up! As far as a complete meal, the feeding guidelines state 3 pouches for every 5 pounds of dog. That is a lot of pouches for medium to larger dogs. I think these will work great as snacks and toppers, but not quite as well as a complete meal without being expensive.
