very disappointed

Beautiful cake. Tiny. Hard as a rock. It crumbled when I tried to cut it. I had to soften it with warm water so my dog could eat his birthday cake. So extremely disappointed.

I placed the cake in the refrigerator and took it out six days later and couldn’t even cut it. Is this cake not suppose to be refrigerated?

This cake is super cute. When ordering, the selling point was the “chewy” bit. There is no way on earth there’s anything chewy about the cake I received. They added a cute candle to be able to put in- pointless because there’s no way you can add it. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if the price was more reasonable for what it is. I absolutely want my money back over this rock hard hazard for teeth. Also, it was broken when I received it.

The outer box was a bit bent, so I recommend the shipper place it in another box to prevent damage, or at least place fragile stickers on it. Thor's cake was not damaged at all, just the outer box. It looked beautiful like someone definitely put some time into making these special. A lot of people must think dog cakes should be exactly like a large humans. I saw other reviews that it was too small. It was perfect for a bark party! My one year old golden retriever is pretty big, but not huge yet. He could easily share this with 3-4 other adult large breeds! If your dog got diarrhea or vomited, it's because you let it eat it in one sitting, especially a small breed dog. It's common sense, you can't ever let your pup eat too much of something new all at once! I consider this cake rather large for one sitting, even for a Mastiff or Great Dane. It was a bit difficult to cut into the top layer, but if you have a good chef knife, it's not a problem. A wine cork screw also made easy work to place the little candle. Maybe most people just don't know how to improvise? The center is a lot softer than the outer frosting which is like the consistency of a milkbone treat. A dog cake is not going to slice like butter compared to a human cake. Considering it's mostly natural ingredients, I was definitely surprised it doesn't have to be frozen or refrigerated. If someone had bugs or maggots, it's because they didn't store it in an airtight container, or probably left it outside for flies to lay eggs. I'm not sure why so many people left bad reviews for this, but I gave it a chance. I received exactly what was expected & pictured. Hopefully my review can help more people that don't understand what they're ordering, & the seller to offer a better description, or a message option for buyer questions.

Birthday Party

We had a party for our 2 Bernie doodles and their brother and sister. The cake was a little hard to cut into 4 pieced but the dogs loved it.

Birthday Cake

This cake was perfect. This was my buddies 14th and last birthday. We had to put him to sleep due to all the pain he was in, but the truly enjoyed this cake and ate every single crumb. Chewy has been so good to my boy for the past 14 years and I would highly recommend them to every pet owner.

Not a happy birthday

Pricey for the tiny size, and it was hard as a rock! Not happy about the product. Will never buy this again.

Hard as a rock , inedible !

Bought this for my dogs 12th birthday. I didn’t check the reviews. It’s cute however it’s literally rock hard. You can’t stick the candle in and I could hardly cut it. When I got it cut in half it just crumbled because it’s dry and hard. I threw it out. Total waste of money !

Very Dissatisfied with this cake didn't realize it was gonna be so small. How am I supposed to feed 6 dogs? With this tiny small cake?
