These cat chews are hard and not chewy at all. I’ve only given my cat these twice but I need to cut them up into small pieces for her to be able to eat them and then put a churu on top. I also have the same medication in tiny pills which I plan to stick to. I’m very disappointed.

My cat is 17 years old and on Budesonide to control her IBD. She is a generally picky eater who never falls for hiding medication in food and rarely accepts even flavored compounded medication (at best she'll fight against it slightly less, but she'll still resist taking it). This chew in the tuna flavor is the first compounded medicine I've tried that she will actively eat like a treat with no hesitation. As others have mentioned the chews are gigantic for a cat, but the consistency is such that its easy to slice into quarters or eighths even just using a kitchen knife. Split into eight pieces my cat gobbles these up like treats, unaware she's consuming the same medication she so deftly avoids in pill or even flavored liquid compounded form. I can't guarantee it will work for you, but my cat loves the taste and this has greatly reduced stress for both of us when its time for the Budesonide dose.
Tuna-flavored chews are a life saver!!

My impossible-to-pill kitty, who consistently spits out pills hidden in wet food or pill pockets or anything else, not only eats these but LOVES them! She comes running when she hears the crinkle of the foil packaging! It is SUCH a relief being able to just hand her medication and watch her happily chow down. As others have noted, the chews are pretty big, and she struggled a bit when I gave her a whole one - so now I just cut them into quarters before giving them to her and they go down easily. Please Chewy, never get rid of this option, I don't know what we'd do without it!!
Too hard
These chews were gigantic, that would have been OK had they smelled good but they smelled very old and like chemicals, my cat couldn't get away from it fast enough

I tried to see of I could return these however there was absolutely zero return option. On to the next method to get my poor little girl with IBD to take her Budesonide.

We tried everything, but nothing worked...until we found these chewables. What a lifesaver! We tried the tuna favor and our cat loves them. The chewables are a little big, about the same size as a stack of 5 pennies. We just cut it into 4 equal pieces and she chews them right up. Very happy to have found this product! Thx Chewy!!

Happy that my cat even LIKES it. Tried to eat the tabs the moment I opened the first one. They're too chewy for my 17-year-old kittie, but dicing them into tiny cubes to mix with food has been very successful. Not SURE how it's affecting his health, but his appetite stays strong and he purrs very readily when he eats, & when I spend time with him. He's eaten about 10 tabs so far, all of each one. So far so good.
These are way too big for cats

Can't won't take pills or most put into food. This she eats though I have to cut up due to no teeth. Really helping with the diarrhea and using litterbix again

I ordered compounded budesonide from a specialty pharmacy which was double the price of chewy. I originally ordered chicken flavor, of course my boy didn;t like it. He did however like the Tuna flavor from Chewy. I do have to cut it up for him bc he doesn't have many teeth :(
