Are the bullibones edible? My dog eats one about every 2 weeks.

Bullibones are intended to be chew toys that clean teeth and offer oral health benefits. They aren’t designed to be consumed, though they can be ingested in small quantities. We recommend replacing your Bullibone after reasonable wear and, at a minimum, once a month.

Are these toys dishwasher safe?

This toy is not dishwasher safe. Bullibones can be washed with hand soap and warm water. Try to keep it from extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Not for heavy / aggressive chewers.

These were a Christmas gift for our pups. One was not all that interested, the other one LOVED these. However, he had pieces chewed off almost immediately. Glad

These were a Christmas gift for our pups. One was not all that interested, the other one LOVED these. However, he had pieces chewed off almost immediately. Glad I picked them up before we left for a family gathering. Gave them back when we got home and noticed, again, he had pieces all over the floor and the bone was quickly becoming smaller. At that point I picked them up because I was concerned he was ingesting pieces as well. Looked these up online and see others commenting about their dogs throwing up after chewing these. It happened here as well. Early this morning, he threw up multiple times and all of it had small pieced of the bone in it. Be careful with these if you have an aggressive chewer. Apparently I did not read the reviews before I purchased these bones! For reference, our dog is a 65lb Great Pyrenees mix. I give these a one star rating due to concern over ingestion / choking / possible blockages if too much of the bone is "eaten".

Durable

We have super chewers. 85 lb Bernedoodles and this is the only bone that they can work down slowly, not eat large chunks or get sick on. This is the only toy they

We have super chewers. 85 lb Bernedoodles and this is the only bone that they can work down slowly, not eat large chunks or get sick on. This is the only toy they don’t destroy in seconds. One of these bones lasts up to a week. And they typically chew once a day for 15-20 min. Love this product. Great for evenings when they are restless.

Little interest

Bella has other rawhides she enjoys chewing on more than the bullibone. I think she gets more flavor from them.

Durable and easy for my dog to handle.

However, it leaves brown stains on rugs and furniture. I am able to get the stains out, but will buy one without the artificial flavors.
