HUGE treats, not as pictured, but high-value

I first ordered the pork pearls and ended up coming back to buy a couple more bags of beef pearls before the half off sale ended. From the pictures, knowing the approximate size bag 10oz would come in, and the bag itself labeling these as "training treats" I was expecting SMALL treats, maybe the size of small marble. These things are all HUGE, average an inch in diameter (about the size of a large grape). They're not suitable for training even for a massive dog unless you want to go to the trouble of cutting them into pieces. Comparing the product picture to the bags I received, these are at least twice, if not three times, the size pictured. If you don't care about the size, they're stinky, high-value jerky treats. If you want actual training-size treats, do not buy them.

My 2 dogs (15 yr old Australian Shepherd and 4 month old Standard Poodle) absolutely LOVE these treats--especially my Standard Poodle puppy. We need high value treats when training her in high distraction environments, and these treats are her favorite so far! As soon as I get these treats out, she is completely focused on me. I'm giving the product 4 stars only because they are quite large for training treats. They are about the size of the tip of my thumb, and I typically like training treats to be the size of a pea so that I don't have to spend time tearing them apart into smaller pieces. The good thing is that they are soft and easily tear apart into smaller bites for training sessions. Despite their size, I will try to keep these treats in stock at my house because they are the highest value treats I've used so far with my puppy during training sessions. They make training easy and fun for both my puppy and me.

These treats have a really strong meaty smell. As soon as I opened the bag my dogs knew I had something they wanted. They all really enjoyed them. The pitbull was

These treats have a really strong meaty smell. As soon as I opened the bag my dogs knew I had something they wanted. They all really enjoyed them. The pitbull was sleeping in the bedroom and I had them closed in my hand and was going to wait until he woke up to give him one. He popped up quickly smelling the treat and ate it like it was the best treat ever. The little dogs liked them, in the future I'll probably break them into smaller pieces for them. They're soft treats but more like sausage than a squishy processed treat. My super picky chow even ate them and he hates most treats.

I was unsure of these treats at first as they don’t have the most appealing appearance, but they are great! The first two ingredients are beef and beef liver and they have no artificial preservatives. When I first offered them to my picky dogs, they didn’t want them until I broke it in half where they could smell/lick the interior and now they love them and get excited even seeing the bag. So make sure you give them a proper chance! I would absolutely recommend these.
