While this Large hut is sized so it's able to fit an Amazon or an African Grey parrot, it can be used for smaller birds such as parakeets.

These furry huts are dangerous!

I lost not one, but two birds to these furry huts. The first bird died when I gave him a new hut after his old one was getting worn out. The loose fibers stuck

I lost not one, but two birds to these furry huts. The first bird died when I gave him a new hut after his old one was getting worn out. The loose fibers stuck to his beak when he was eating a sticky piece of fruit. He ingested the fibers, and they got caught in his intestines. His best friend was so distraught that she stated chewing on her hut. She had a wad of fibers in her crop. She died in surgery trying to remove them. None of my birds will ever have one of these huts again!

Best tent for birds

Our conure shreds everything, she is such a happy bird and there are many tents, huts and homes for birds, but years ago she got wrapped up in threads and hurt her

Our conure shreds everything, she is such a happy bird and there are many tents, huts and homes for birds, but years ago she got wrapped up in threads and hurt her wing. We were able to get her free and searched for a tent that dis not have threads... with this tent, she can pull all stuffing out, leaving nothing left. This is safe for her. We have used this tent for 10 years. We buy this every other month, to replace what she destroys.

Warmth and good size
