If you don’t see him right away in his cage, take a peek inside and you’ll find him relaxing in this safe and secure place he’ll be happy to call his own. The super soft and snuggly fabric helps protect him from the cold, like drafty windows and air conditioning vents that are too close to the cage. Thanks to a sturdy stainless steel pear clip, it’s a cinch to install and move around his cage.

Although it said for a large bird, it probably would fit a parakeet.
Wayyy to small!!! The large is good for a Quaker or conure but nothing bigger! I was under the impression it was for the next step up!! Luckily I have other animals that could use it….
my SUN CONURE loves to sleep in this and keeps her warm.
I have not bought one of these but i know that this is dangerous for birds. the fibers inside is bad for ur bird since it could kill it As the fabric is broken down, it exposes smaller strands that get tangled around legs, toes AND necks.
Be careful, I had one of these for my sun conure. He was startled by thunder when he was in it, flapped his wings and they bent backward. One of his blood feathers was broken and needed to be removed. He could have bled to death. It was very scary. He now has permanent damage on his left wing from it.
My birds absolutely LOVE these! They are WONDERFUL for keeping them in a place where they are cozy, comfortable, and all their own. PLEASE REPLACE THESE REGULARLY! Birds can ingest the fibers from the fabric which can be deadly without the hut looking chewed. Birds being stoic when they have any pain in addition to the fibers being ingested makes a deadly combination. Being bird moms we know our birds well. By the time they show any discomfort from ingesting any of the fibers that have weakened over time, all too often turns out tragic. The feet of your bird, as another person pointed out, do not need to be flat. This can be solved by hanging the hut and placing a natural perch inside the hut. I suggest keeping these on Autoship and replacing every 7-8 weeks depending on how much your bird chews/wears it out. My conures all have one in their cages with the perch inside. They sleep inside them. They nap on their backs resting on the outside ceiling while holding on to the top of the cage (think Woodstock on Snoopy) Their is A LOT of controversy on this type of hut out there online. I found that this hut has the shortest fibers and lasts longer. Please do your research and take into consideration that you know your bird best to decide if this is right for your bird. May God Bless!!
Pretty green color, seems well-made, and it’s the perfect size for my Sun Conure. He likes it! He’s had it for about 3 weeks, and he hasn’t torn it up.
My Quaker parrot who is very fussy on his tents loves this one! It is so soft, well made and is the perfect size for him,
I have used these for years with my lovebirds. It is a GREAT thing to have if they get scared, want quiet time, or to sleep in. When they go "night night" they go to their "house". Every bird cage needs one of these....
Sturdy, well made, warm, soft padding, would definitely recommend!
