These chews are more of a leathery texture; not too soft but not rock hard either. They should be malleable.

Dark, Burned, Hard

This entire bag of sweet potato treats was inedible. The slices were obviously burned in processing. They were so hard a knife would not cut through them. I've bought from Chewy for years but never had a problem with any of their products. The brand I usually buy for these treats is Healthfuls, but at the time, they were out of stock. These from Caledon Farms looked nice, and they were on sale. In hindsight, I wonder if that's why they were on sale. No surprise. I won't be buying anything else from Caledon Farms.

Not safe! This doesn’t even deserve one star. Sweet potatoes are a healthy treat for dogs, right? My 15 lb Shorky almost choked on the first one I gave him. These

Not safe! This doesn’t even deserve one star. Sweet potatoes are a healthy treat for dogs, right? My 15 lb Shorky almost choked on the first one I gave him. These are rock hard. I cut the next one in half and soaked a piece in water to soften it up but instead it became like leather, still not chewable. Thinking it might be easier for a larger dog to eat I gave the rest of the bag to my friend’s 50 lb doodle, Lily who nearly choked on one also. My friend threw the rest away. This product should come with a warning. I will not be ordering these again.

These Chews are awesome, with no nonsense which I love. Kai enjoys them a lot, except she needs supervision when eating them. The Chews are kind of jerky like, so they don't break when they're bitten, but they aren't soft to just half chew and swallow. They could be a bit of a choking hazard if you have a kiddo who just tries to swallow things before fully chewing.

However, I have two dogs, a cattle dog who’soven and a dachshund who’s at 12 so my dachshund found it very hard to chew the carrots because they are hard so I think these are younger dogs And that’s why I gave it a four star rating had they been softer? I would’ve given it a five it’s just a personal preference. I wanted softness of the carrot for my older dog and and it just wasn’t soft enough for him so my cattle dog will use them till they’re gone

We purchased this product as an alternative to the brand. We normally buy through chewy as it was unavailable. When we opened the bag, the difference is immediately evident. The product is extreme, poor quality burnt, and both Gordon Setter’s want nothing to do with them (sweet potato chews are normally their favorite treat). I gave the product one star only because negative numbers is not available. Do not purchase this product.

I bought this due to the quantity and price. These are in no way, "slow baked." They don't look anything like what's on the package and horrible texture. Theses

I bought this due to the quantity and price. These are in no way, "slow baked." They don't look anything like what's on the package and horrible texture. Theses lack moisture and have the feel and texture of potato chips. My dogs didn't like these and another waste of money. I will go back to what I use to get. Not what I have come to expect chewy toy carry.

I'm always interested in finding new treats for our dog, sweet potato treats are his fave. The previous Sweet Potato chews I've purchased have been much softer than Caledon Farms brand. I usually cut them in to smaller pieces, but these are too hard to cut. Our dog likes them , but we refrain from giving him them daily.

Wrong food and snacks in box!!

What I ordered was not a $26 bag of kibbles and bits and what I truly order was a 40lb bag of Prurina One Lamb and rice $60.99 plus a 4lb bag of the same Purina

What I ordered was not a $26 bag of kibbles and bits and what I truly order was a 40lb bag of Prurina One Lamb and rice $60.99 plus a 4lb bag of the same Purina one at 9.98(close enough and then 2 bags of sweet potato treats at 7.98 a bag. Total order is in the picture provided. $88.98. When I called I was refused to just purchase what was sent and them send me my correct order! Yes I was willing to pay for their mistake! Oops we can’t do that we do t have that capability. You will have to tape the bag back up and send it back then we will ship your correct order! So they messed up and I and my dogs are the ones who suffer! I am less than displeased with how I was treated by a supposed customer service specialist.
