All their products are cooked in U.S. facilities. They have their own facility in Brownwood, Texas named Ethos Pet Nutrition where most of their products are made. Some of the ingredients used in their products are sourced from outside of the USA like the Lamb, as it comes from New Zealand and the Salmon from Canada.

Is this a GMO product?

Although CANIDAE is unable to guarantee non-GMO sourcing at all levels, they choose to use non-GMO ingredients whenever possible.

What is agar-agar?

Agar-Agar is used as a binding ingredient. This means it's used as an emulsifier and as a thickener. Agar-Agar is sourced from red seaweed or seaweed.

Are the cans BPA free?

CANIDAE cans are BPA Non-Intent. This means that the cans do not intentionally include BPA, but the third party manufacturer that produces their cans does not guarantee that there is no carry over from cans which may include BPA in the same facility. Any trace amounts of BPA fall well within current FDA guidelines.

Woody is back eating!

Too many dented cans

My dog likes this food and I've used it for a while now, but I'm going to stop buying it because there are just too many dented cans. I'm tired of peeling back labels

Not good for my dogs

We use blue buffalo but wanted to try something different, looked for better options just to take better care of the dogs health. This was rated highly on different

We use blue buffalo but wanted to try something different, looked for better options just to take better care of the dogs health. This was rated highly on different websites and on Chewey so we tried it. I serve wet mixed in with dry dog food for them to have balanced of both kinds. This brand made both of my dogs violently ill. I’m not sure if the cans were bad or if both my dogs reacted the same for some reason to the same ingredients but they still have symptoms days after stopping they are sick to their stomachs, gas and uncomfortable do not want cookies or bones. Picking at breakfast and dinner. Every pet is different this is just what’s happened to my dogs. It smells like wet dog food and the only noticeable difference between this and blue buffalo is at the end of the can , canidae had some sort of dark gelatin at the bottom and my old food did not. Could be their ingredients settling at the bottom it’s just an observation and difference I’ve noticed between the two.
