Works for my picky, sensitive eaters!

I have 2 picky eaters and one is super sensitive and has a reaction to most foods. This is a good size kibble and they seem to enjoy the flavor. It seems to be a quality food for the price!

Food causes diarrhea in my dog

My dog who is very picky about her food seems to have liked it enough to eat it, but stated to have diarrhea. I suspect the raw coating did not agree with her tummy. I had to by pro-pectalin medication from chewy to treat her. Five stars for the taste, zero for quality.

Excellent

We have 2 pitbulls with one being a senior and the other is 3. They both love this food as it is easy for them to eat and fills them up. We combine this food with another food to give them a variety of flavor and they both love it!

Small dog loved

Small dog loved this food- actually started picking old dog food out because I mixed it to get her gradually used to it.

Finally a winner??

This is my shihtzu's 2nd brand of Lamb food. We started with Purina One Plus Small Breed, lamb and rice. That went somewhat well for awhile, but still just not a big enough hit. (But better than all of the other attempts of dry dog food besides the Canidae Pure Small Breed Chicken that he was on for awhile...which he grew tired of but was still never a clear winner either.)My boy has tried too many different foods, maybe that's why he's so picky...but once you really try to please them you seem to go down a rabbit hole and before you know it you're on your 10th attempt of finding something he really likes! ugh. I FINALLY decided to try Lamb (he went back and forth between chicken and beef mostly. We tried salmon...did NOT like, and tried an expensive Whitefish flavor of some expensive brand which had GREAT reviews for picky little dogs...he did NOT like it). Lamb seems to be a winner for him. What I found with the Purina One version is that he doesn't care for the Rice component...that seems to be where most of the hesitation was for him. I went back to the Canidae b/c I just felt in all my research it is such a great option for him and really wanted him to like it, especially with the raw coated pieces I couldn't understand why he didn't take more to the Chicken version. Turns out he prefers Lamb! While I finished up the Purina One I bought the Canidae Lamb and blended the two...that's when I figured out it was the Rice in the Purina he didn't like. I actually sorted out the Rice pieces and trashed them, so his entire bowl is purina lamb kibble and lamb "chewy" chunks combined with Canidae raw coated lamb kibble. It has been the best combo yet. Once the purina is gone I will proceed with the Canidae only and hope I can get by with that...if not I know what I have to do. Nothing will ever be a slam dunk for him...he's been "ruined" by all of this food change.... 5 stars seems to only be plausible for people food. ugh. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item...but if you're reading this you too have a picky eater who has great potential to disappoint you in your food purchase...but I think this one is worth a shot (it really comes down to if he likes lamb...if so then I think this might be a 4 or 5 star choice!)

He loves it!

My Yorkie is a picky eater with allergies. I recently started him on Canidae Adult Lamb, and he loves it. He has tolerated the change in food well with just a little gas.
