It's my dogs special treat after they eat and be good.
Online label says it's made from US beef hides. The package you get looks different than online lable in picture. The package I got says made and processed in Taiwan. What is Canine Choice doing, sending hides to Taiwan to made and process treats?
These had a horrible chemical smell! Threw them away!
I thought these were the same Munchy Sticks I had previously purchased. I have 2 dachshunds, gave them half stick each. Both vomited and then had diarrhea next BM. They were on chicken and rice for a week. Never again. Threw them away.
Thought these munchy sticks were the same as I had purchased before. I have two dachshunds. Gave the half each. Bothe bexame sick. Vomited and diarrhea. Had them on chicken rice and pumpkin for a week. Never again. Threw them away.
It might be my misunderstanding, but when I see the words chew stick I think more of a rawhide stick, something that last more than a milkbone. Petey gobbled this up in seconds so must have tasted okay but not what I was expecting. Probably works ok for little dogs.
My chihuahua mixes, like these, its a good way to bribe them into the house. Not a long lasting chew but I didn't expect it to be.
One dog loved these but the other seems to be allergic so I can’t really recommend these. They both enjoyed eating them though.
My girls love these! I used to get Dentley's munchy sticks, but Chewy doesn't carry them, so tried these. I like that there's no mess, no staining, and since they're chopped compressed rawhide, they can't get lodged in a dog's throat. My girls are both aussies weighing about 43 pounds each and can make these sticks disappear in less than a minute. So if you're looking for a long-lasting chew, these aren't it. But for a munchy, crunchy snack that dogs love, these are perfect. I just ordered the larger bag now that they're back in stock.
I bought 4 packs of these for my dog since he ran out of some chew sticks that were similar to this item. Every time I gave him one, he seemed to get a bit sick. At first I didn’t think much of it but I finally realized that when he kept throwing up, he was throwing up the stick treat. He gets super sick from these and I gave some to his doggy friend and he threw up as well from them. Will never buy again. Do not get these for your dog.
