The Capstar Flea Treatment includes 6 tablets and the Bayer Dewormer includes 3 tablets. A single dose of Capstar Tablets should kill the adult fleas on your pet. If your pet gets re-infested with fleas, you can safely give another dose as often as once per day. One treatment with the Bayer Tapeworm Dewormer for cats should be adequate to clear out the tapeworms.

How long after using Capstar Flea Oral Treatment do you start a monthly topical flea treatment?

If you are currently administering a monthly flea preventive such as Frontline Plus (fipronil) or Advantage II (imidacloprid) and it fails, you may administer CAPSTAR treatments daily, as needed, for quick relief against a flea infestation. CAPSTAR may also be used with flea shampoos, as well as heartworm preventives, antibiotics, vaccines and de-worming medications.

Capstar can be used daily, as needed, for fast-acting relief from an existing flea infestation. It is not a monthly preventative. A monthly flea infestation preventive is recommended for long-term treatment and prevention of flea infestations. A single treatment with Tapeworm Dewormer (praziquantel tablets) for cats should be adequate to clear out tapeworms. However, steps should be taken to treat and prevent fleas on the cat (and other pets in the home) and remove rodents around the home or premises in order to prevent reinfection; otherwise, retreatment will be needed.

For the first time ever, my order was damaged. The cases of cat food crushed the capstar nitenpyram pills. Two were ok but the other four pills were little pieces and powder. It's hard enough to give the cats pills but powder is impossible. What a waste because of poor packing.
