Excellent quality

Sturdy, hefty. We’ve had it since he was a puppy. We still use it to block off a section of the room when needed. Worth the price.

The price on this is a little on the hefty side, but the craftsmanship, the ability to adjust this gate to virtually any space in your house, really gives you the flexibility with your puppy to set up camp in all spaces without giving them full access...and limit their accessibility to the wonderous curiosities of wires, and leather furniture lol We also love that they have locks making them more rigid when our puppy has playtime and wants to throw herself at the gate to get our attention. :)

Grossest color imaginable

This looked like a natural wood color in the photos. It's....diarrhea brown. It's so disgusting I'm probably going to have to spend the time now to paint it. Construction

This looked like a natural wood color in the photos. It's....diarrhea brown. It's so disgusting I'm probably going to have to spend the time now to paint it. Construction seems ok, but I absolutely can't live with this color. Painted wood doesn't go with my aesthetic so this is throwing everything off.

Arrived broken

This gate arrives pre-assembled. I was excited for this because it can be so frustrating to put these things together! Upon taking the gate out of the box, I immediately

This gate arrives pre-assembled. I was excited for this because it can be so frustrating to put these things together! Upon taking the gate out of the box, I immediately noticed that the wood slats connected to the bottom of the gate were mostly attached by wood glue and several (4) of the slats were completely disconnected. I attempted to fix this but could not get the slats to line up correctly. Also, after paying $200, why should I have to fix this? It looks deceivingly high quality, and after arriving broken it is obviously not worth the money.

This was the easiest thing to set up. It's all put together and very sturdy. Just take it out of the box. Easy as pie. Love it. I needed it while my dog recuperates
