What is the inside of it ? Is it washable?

This bed features a polyester fiber-filled cushion. The inner cushion cannot be machine washed. Spot cleaning is the proper way to care for the inner filled cushion. The shell can be washed.

This is an okay bed. I adopted a young adult dog who had never lived inside and she can be destructive. She chewed up my really nice older beds with 4 bolsters and a pad so I chose this because it seems pretty basic and sturdy. The reviews described it as flat, but it arrived super poofy! It’s not soft at all and took a while for her to use it. I also got the Sherpa-top one for the bedroom and that one is much better. I was afraid she’d mistake that for a toy. Within a few days she chewed multiple holes in this one and the cover for the padding is like paper so it was all over the place. It is part my dog situation, but I would not buy this one again. The other dogs don’t use it at all - it is like a rough canvas. It has also flattened significantly since she started to use it!

When you packed it for shipping it was rolled up and plastic wrapped. When I got it would not lay flat. Even after a struggle it still won't lay flat.

it is not firm. It is like a huge slippery balloon.

I had to just take the fluffy center out and use the cover on an old bed so my big very old dog could get on and off of it....looked like he was trying to navigate
