Our dog hated this harness. The fit was very awkward. He kept biting at the front d-ring. We purchased this harness to add to our Carhartt collection. We use the other harness, with the handle daily. We thought this one would be a bit less restrictive but it annoyed our dog. We will be returning it.

I was having trouble finding a high quality step in harness until I found this. Very sturdy and easy to put on. Has both back and chest loops. Does not get tangled

Awful

I have a 114lb. Great Dane. I measured and ordered the correct size. 48 hours later it came apart ! The great customer service sent another harness because it was

I have a 114lb. Great Dane. I measured and ordered the correct size. 48 hours later it came apart ! The great customer service sent another harness because it was a defect obviously. New harness came 2days later. Same size. The new one had different harness adjusters and I let it out as far as it would go and it was 3” gap (to small). I called Chewy and they refunded me said take the harness to a shelter and donate. I will do for sure! I ordered a Ruffwear! Very inconsistent sizing and quality it obviously not real Carhart!

I measured my dog and was disappointed when this was so big on him. The belly area finally fits but the chest is still too big. I also think this is harder to put

Beware Chewers

Beware if your dog is a chewer, they're not chew proof. Once we realized, we made sure to keep inaccessable to the dogs when not in use. Great product, the fit

Beware if your dog is a chewer, they're not chew proof. Once we realized, we made sure to keep inaccessable to the dogs when not in use. Great product, the fit is somewhat iffy despite measuring our dogs. Love the hardware placements and versatility and that the neck area does not choke our dog if/when they tug. Still remaining loyal to Carhartt.

We put the Carhartt harness on our 100 LB Rottweiler dog and it was the most delightful easiest walk we've ever had with her. She did not try to pull our tag on

We put the Carhartt harness on our 100 LB Rottweiler dog and it was the most delightful easiest walk we've ever had with her. She did not try to pull our tag on us even once. She was under complete control the entire walk simply amazing. This harness works better than any of the other brand we have tried.
